  2. Link to when he said he was world class?
  3. The problem I have here is that unless Sissoko absolutely dominates a game and is the best player on the park people go on like he's just not turned up or not bothered. He just isn't a good enough footballer that he can dominate every game he plays. No surprise that his best games are against teams that give him space to run with the ball on the counter, Norwich at home, Spurs both games. When you are playing against a team with lots of men behind the ball he's generally poor because his passing is really inconsistent and there's no space to run at. This is another reason why I don't think any good teams will go for him.
  4. I thought the complete opposite. Looks like they're lacking a World Class striker. Haven't seen a huge amount or Morata so presume he will be the main striker? England are the only good team in it with really good strikers and I don't think the rest of their team is good enough. Morata is an improvement on what they've had since Torres and Villa went downhill
  5. I don't know him obviously so I'm not going to call him a disgusting human being but he's been sent off for headbutting, elbowing and spitting at fans already in his career. I'm also surprised referees are letting him away with getting in their faces after they make a decision against him
  6. If you're trying to build a squad you don't just take loads of the same type of players though. Pedro brings directness that Mata and a lot of their other players don't.
  7. Saylor bang average People really need to learn what the word average means
  8. What if those decent ones are still better than the shit ones without trying? This is the contentious thing for me, I think for me it's purely about performance rather than perceived effort. In terms of who should fuck off fastest then yeah I agree. But players who could have kept us up going hiding for most of the season boils my piss more than Colback being his usual shit self. Aye, obviously a half-arsed Sissoko gets in the team ahead of a 100% effort Obertan. In terms of actually disliking someone though, nothing is more infuriating than a waste of talent. Don't dislike Gouffran, Colback, Dummett, Obertan etc, they're just not good enough. The rage induced by a misplaced pass pales in comparison to seeing a player dawdle in the centre circle or flat-out refuse to track their man. You overrate Sissoko's talent and underrate his effort
  9. Clearly because he wants to move to London to be closer to his family. People are talking about Man United though? Isn't Leicester only like an hour on the train as well? London wasn't mentioned. Arsenal is the main team being mentioned isn't it?
  10. Rafa didn't start him in any of the games that mattered once he'd figured out his best team and yet Mitrovic scored 4 goals in the final 10 games of the season, compared to 5 in the previous 28 games. That suggests Rafa made a different, no? It also suggests that he isn't good enough to start but is a very good bench option
  11. Went for Wijnaldum, was between him and Saylor
  12. Rafa didn't start him in any of the games that mattered once he'd figured out his best team
  13. Obviously its a choice between two bad options but Colo is still way better than Saylor

    Rolando Aarons

Hope he stays here and can stay fit next season. Love players like him
  15. Well you can when I was just talking about starts in my post. We all know he's a handful coming off the bench a lot of the time Alright, but what's the point in removing the goals when he got subbed? I don't get what you're trying to say. I didn't remove goals when he got subbed, did I? Alright, but what's the point in removing the goals when he got subbed on? I don't get what you're trying to say. That he's a lot better coming off the bench and he's generally been poor when he's started. 1 goal from play per 4.4 games when he starts
  16. Scouts watch every game a player plays, they don't just watch Match of the Day at night to look out for players. He's never been strongly linked to another team while with us iirc and there's a reason for that

Best striker options in the Euro's but don't particularly rate the rest of your team. Having such good strikers will always give you a chance though

...as have Sterling, Rooney and Delph. Wilshire hasn't even played, Sturridge is always injured and Henderson has been away for a while too. People always say these things without noting the players who've actually been picked. Sturridge on one leg is better than Walcott

  20. He doesn't get more stick, there is just more activity in this thread because people have vastly differing opinions on him. Everybody knows Cisse is shit now so there is no debate to be had

Walcott's been utterly shit this season. Don't think he can feel aggrieved
