He came off the bench and assisted 2 goals so it didn't have to matter, thanks to him. Same as he's came off the bench to almost single-handedly get us points against Norwich when it really mattered, and put in the decisive equaliser in the derby. He's starting to show some form so get off his back, nobody's saying he's clinical but he's putting a shift in, showing quality and leadership and registering some goals and assists when we really need them most. Yep - he played well in the first half, which coincided with us getting the ball to him a bit more. Faded in the second half and it was the right decision to bring him off in the second half. I think people underestimate how hard it is to influence a game as a winger if the ball isn't supplied to you regularly enough. You can't go chasing the ball and ruining the shape of the team. Well it's easy to get on the ball as a midfielder and attacking midfielder and he didn't seem to want it then either

He isn't, his long passing is his best attribute by a mile. He's not agile or skillful enough to be a number 10

Same team for me but Mitro for Cisse Don't know why you'd start Mitro when he's only looked consistently effective while coming off the bench this season, added to the fact that Cisse did well yesterday

He definitely wasn't. He had a good game up until he ran out of steam. That header to Colback would be talked about for weeks if it was Mitro

He's as good now as Silva was at his best IMO

Well he scored four goals against Norwich earlier in the season and was shit against them a few weeks ago so I don't hold out much hope on that front

Brilliant but would definitely keep him on the bench for the next game. His three best performances this season have come off the bench IMO, today, Spurs and Norwich the other week. Cisse was decent for about 60 minutes as well and then Mitro is a game changing sub to bring on
