  1. I'm pretty happy with that actually because as I've said already I believe Anita playing as a third centre half when we had the ball was killing us going forward bear that in mind when we're hoofing the ball up from the back because colback is trying to hide inside someone's shorts rather than take the ball in a precarious area That would still be as effective as what Anita was doing i.e. Not effective at all he is effective at doing it, the fact that the people he gives the ball to can do fuck all with it is another matter we spent years aimlessly lumping the ball up man, i was kind of happy to see the change as without mitrovic we can't afford to be hoofing it to fucking cisse you've got to see this surely? I'd be delighted if we kept possession and I'd also be happy with Anita starting if we did it in better areas but instead we play with our midfielder dropping between the two centre halves and it just wasn't working. As I've said before it's management's fault not Anita's but if him getting dropped means abandoning this tactic then I'm happy

  5. He'd be put down a long time ago if he was a horse
  6. Your attitude that you are always right can be annoying. Sometimes you could just say ,"I disagree but I respect your opinion" but instead you keep arguing for ages and ages which annoys people. As I said I think you know a good bit about football but when you are posting the exact same thing again and again instead of letting it go it is annoying
  7. Agree with this. He actually knows quite a bit about football but his attitude to others is awful and thus people dislike him

Sissoko was our best starting player out of the entire midfield and Cisse, not exactly a keenly contested prize but wanting him dropped based on the performance in the last game in comparison to others is strange He was terrible and cannot pass a ball. He runs in straight lines and is in no way a right winger. Cisse even though he has a knack of getting goals harms our game in every other way. We need a forward to hold up and bring others into play. He really doesn't and barely troubles defenders at times when they need to be rattled. Perez and Mitrovic will do that Sissoko is an odd player to single out from Monday night as playing badly. He was better than every starting player bar the back four. You say he runs in straight lines but that running in straight lines brought us further up the pitch when everybody else was happy to pass the ball sideways around the halfway line It's not that odd when I have been saying it for last 2 years. We lack fluidity and he is part of the problem, not the only one as I have said in other posts that Cisse and Wijnaldum in number 10 means we lack a lot of guile, movement and threat in front 4. Wijnaldum further back will work, Sissoko was tried there and is an odd player. Thauvin was terrible but on few games played and needs more time before judgement on his capabilities I would try a 433 with Sissoko, Wijnaldum and either Tiote or Anita slightly behind them in the middle and then either Perez or De Jong as a striker, don't really want Perez or De Jong in that position but they'd do a better job than Cisse I think with Thauvin on the right and Perez/Aarons on the left

  10. It will get miles better by just getting rid of one of Colback and Anita and to stop playing Anita as a third centre half when we have the ball

  12. DM= holding midfielder I would've thought
  13. It that's the case then surely it would make no difference dropping him? I think they see it as a role specifically for Anita rather than one that will always be in the team. For example, when Anita was replaced nobody else then took up that role of dropping between the two centre halves
  14. Just watched this. Krul- Some shite kicking but didn't have much to do Janmaat-our best player probably and best attacker until Ayoze came on. Colo and Mbemba-both solid enough with some bad passes on the ball but happy enough with these. Haidara-actually seems to have improved defensively but needs to learn how to cross. Anita and Colback- If I see this partnership again I'll stab myself in the eyes Sissoko- Ran himself into the ground for 60 minutes, then got tired and only featured from time to time. His passing actually got better when he slowed down near the end due to tiredness Thauvin- Shit performance, hopefully a one off. Doesn't have much raw pace as others and myself mentioned previously Wijnaldum- Poor until moved deeper where he looked way more comfortable Cisse- Bad but no poacher in the world could score in our team Perez- Very good, has to start from now until the end of time/when he moves to a good team De Jong- Not as impressed by him as others seemed to be, some nice touches but seemed a bit timid
  15. Just watched the full first half of the game Monday. I have to say that although Anita is a better player than Colback, if only one of them is to be dropped I'd prefer it to be Anita if it meant abandoning that tactic of Anita playing as a third centre half when we have the ball. IMO its one of the major reasons we are creating nothing. Its just absolutely mental to watch something so ineffective still being used after 5 games of the season, its absolutely killing us and its not Anita's fault either, its down to the ridiculous decision from management to persevere with it

    Papiss Cissé

Only watched highlights of the game but at one stage Sissoko sprinted about 80 yards to try to stop a counter attack while nearly everyone else jogged back slowly And? This would suggest that he does in fact give a shit and that he just had a bad game So one defensive run tells you that he cares? Ok As I said I didn't watch the game but yes running from that far at top speed while the rest of your teammates in better positions do nothing to try to stop your team from conceding would suggest to me that he cares, yes. Do you care to provide any evidence of him not caring?

  22. Form changes loads over the course of a season. You can't say after 5 games which team is going to go down unless they look totally out of their depth
  23. It's like how Lampard and Gerrard always looked shite together though. You need two midfielders who compliment each other, and I just can't see them doing that. Neither do Anita and Colback, of course, but nobody is disputing that those two are shite together. Not much harm in giving it a go once anyway to see if it would work
