I'm here now as well, honestly could care less if it goes badly. So....... you do care then?

Napoli went to the semi's in EL which got them decent amount of points. Forgot about that. Apparently England is OK for 4 Champions League places next season but they could lose the 4th spot the following season. Italy are catching England up and have gained a lot of co-efficient points through their success in the Europa League which most of our clubs discount as a waste of time. It would be rather amusing if our attitude to the Europa League led to us losing that 4th spot. Was how Italy lost theirs in the first place, you would think it would make others learn but obviously not. Even the Champions League results at the moment are awful

Aye, he's a great player to watch
-
Didn't see the game last night but this is bullshit. Shit players don't regularly play for France Nah, it's not. He's been here what 3 years nearly? If he's had 10 good games in that time you'll be lucky. He's fucking gash. As I said didn't see the game last night but I have a lot of time for him. He always tries to create something while others are too afraid to do anything
-
A great bunch of guys
-
Aye, loads of space in front of our full back, then we pass directly to feet rather than ahead of him
-
Its a bit of extra effort like but its not that hard to find high quality streams if you have a decent internet connection
-
Also is the Bundesliga actually any good like? Dortmund and Bayern are the only teams I'm ever impressed by when I watch them in Europe
-
Its good to see how PSV were able to recover so well from losing such good players as Depay and Wijnaldum. I know its a worse league but they still looked like a pretty good side last night
-
I copied all of froggy's scores bar the Newcastle one last week because I thought we'd get something
-
Thought he was decent. Blasted the ball over the bar which I didn't know he was capable of (blasting a football that is) Didn't do much bar miss a sitter from what I saw
-
You could never say of Tiote that he goes missing tbf, like you can the other two. Constantly looking for the ball. My memory is probably shit but I still think Tiote is a better bet than the other two

He's always slow on the ball tbf. As TCD said he holds onto it for ages looking up like he's going to play a ball out to the flanks or up to the striker and then just turns back around and passes it to Anita. He should just accept his limitations and do it quickly
-
You do this an awful lot Kaiz
-
Sakho is a strange one, surely better than Lovren
-
I'd have Suarez slightly ahead of Aguero. Don't think Aguero could have done what Suarez did for Liverpool. Suarez is also better for his country from what I've seen
-
Watched some highlights now. Obviously not anything like watching the whole game but from what I saw, Colback and Anita both at fault for the first goal but also a great finish by Payet who seems a great player from what I've seen this season. Wijnaldum also wasn't great in the build up to that goal being very weak in the challenge. Janmaat got turned very easily for another chance and should have scored as well but fair play to him for getting into that position. Another counter attack then with our two "sitting" players both in the opposition penalty area for some reason. You can complain about Sissoko all you like but he ran about 70 yards at full speed to get back for that counter while most of our players jogged back slowly. Next another counter attack that led to the second goal. Awful ball in, then poor from Anita after the initial shot hit the bar. Then the Janmaat chance, good play by Sissoko and a decent shot by Janmaat from a difficult angle. As we all knew the midfield partnership isn't good enough and I'm not sure either of them are good enough even alongside a better player
-
Strange that our centre halves are probably the strongest part of our team atm
-
The tactic itself is pretty common, isn't it? Split the centre halves, stick a DM between and push the full backs up to try and stretch narrow teams? You're right about our own shape being too stretched, though, massive hole in the middle that Colback and Wijnaldum needed to help fill. Yeah it is but when you're doing it 25 yards from goal away from home it ain't the best. Especially when he isn't capable of a decent long pass out to the wide players
-
As long as one of them goes I don't really care which
-
He is capable of some good performances but doesn't show it often. A lot of people here seem to overrate him imo. I didn't see the game tonight though
-
Missed the game but that is an awful result. An awful performance to go with it I presume?
-
I honestly can't fathom somebody having this opinion. He plays s*** football, says some awful things about people, talks loads of s****, eye gouges people, sacks people for doing their job I'm a nutter? Maybe I don't get the sky w*** fest over him over here in the US? I'm not even talking about the football or style. I like the fact he's won. I don't know. Hard to or probably unable to explain and its probably best I keep my opinion to myself Like him because he's won? Alreet Froggy Why don't you read my comment for what it is and stop trying to apply it to something it's not. I'm not here glory hunting for fucking sake, I'm a Newcastle supporter - but I respect coaches and managers that have a proven winning track record - across all leagues and such. I'd rather not go on with this discussion with you b/c you're clearly picking at something thats not there. I also don't argue with anyone who doesn't like him b/c I know for sure my opinion goes against the grain 100%. Was only taking the piss Kanji. Sorry if it came across as a dig
