Were there a lot of different clubs winning stuff like 10 or 20 years ago? No Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Blackburn and Man City are the only teams to have won the Premier League/Premiership (since 1992) and Blackburn was very much a one off

I think keepers are a bit overstated in terms of how many points they will earn a team in a league format. In a cup tournament they could perhaps make an unbelievable save to get you through but the difference in points Real Madrid would end up with between having a very good keeper(Navas) and an outstanding keeper(De Gea) would be little enough IMO

Which is precisely the reason why we should be paying up their contracts and getting them off the wage bill. But paying up their contracts is basically the same as just leaving them there to rot isn't it, in terms of finances?

Any reason why this still wouldn't be allowed. I'm sure Spurs sign players after the deadline every year. Don't they normally say if the deal was agreed before the deadline it's ok ? I don't really have a clue how these things work or if you are correct but maybe the documentation they sent in late was the paperwork that proved the deal was agreed?
