Did some research on Nasri's girlfriend after her twitter outburst. Came across this. Quiet a list http://www.whosdatedwho.com/tpx_592248/anara-atanes/

Extremely gutted at lack of Totti in Italy's squad. Really thought Prandelli will go for it, as Totti had given the green light. Keep changing my mind everyday as of which of England/Italy/Uruguay will be ousted in the group stage....think England are at disadvantage due to playing Costa Rica (by no means shit) last.

Next month is gonna be the month when everyone and their dogs become a football expert, isn't it ?! Fully expect 16 year old girls who don't know what fullback position is, to provided hourly Facebook updates on World Cup and how "Their team is winning". World Cup, and the night of presidential election.....Everyone all of a sudden has always been into those. Always annoys me.

Glen J either plays like prime Cafu, or a substitute sunday league player. At least that's how he was this season for Liverpool. Sadly, it's the latter 75% of the time. If he had any real competition in the England squad, he shouldn't be going to Brazil. Will thank him for his service and gladly get rid of him in summer. One of the most frustrating players out there.

Well, it takes a monumental collapse from the guy in 1st place for me to win the N-O league, and same for me to be caught by person in 3rd. 2nd in my debut season....not bad.

Funnily enough, A Real draw is better for Atleti compared to Real loss. if Real had lost here today, then Barca would have become second favourites, and could have won the title by beating Atleti on the last day no question. Now, Barca remain third favourites, and them beating Atleti on the last day COULD help them get second, but can also still gift the title to Real Madrid. so I think Barca will not bother much now. All assuming all 3 teams win their games next week of course.

3rd and European trophy last season + 100M in transfers = 3rd and nothing this season. Tactical Masterclass/Genius. Espeical/Only One.

Pleased for Rafa.

What do people reckon is a better approach when two teams are tied on points. PL's system of GD or La Liga's h-2-h ?? I'll go for the former, because it encourages attacking football and always leaves open possibilities, but some arguments for h-2-h are valid too. just think if it's h-2-h, it'd encourage too many boring 1-0 and 2-0 wins (yea yea, I know I am a big fan of the latter, but still.)

It's all shaping up for a Fat Sam masterclass now. May 11th, 2014 BBC Alert (90+4): UNBELIEVABLE SCENES AT THE ETIHAD. Joe Cole feeds the ball wide to Downing, who delivers an inch-perfect cross for Andy Carroll to score the equalizer. You couldn't have made it up ! WHAT A STORY. MANCHESTER CITY 1-1 WEST HAM.

BARKLEY YOU FUCKING BEAUTY !!!!

That was so so cruel on Valencia, I wouldn't wish it on any club on this world bar Chelsea. To rub it in, Emery did his best Mourinho's impression of winding up the home fans.....that has got to hurt. Fucking hell, that was awful. Hope some rich fucker buys Valencia, they really don't deserve all the heart-breaks and bad luck they get.
-
The atmosphere at Mestalla :smitten: O0 :snod:
-
Been Whatsapping with my friends in Valencia. The atmosphere at Mestalla sounds unreal. There is a whole reAMUNTada campaign around the city. Looks boss as fuck. Really hope they pull it off. Have always liked Valencia. Come on !! Emery would love to beat them on his way to the final though. Should be a cracker that one.

If you spend 50m and don't bring home the league title at the first attempt then you're a disaster. Let's ignore Brendan Rodgers having a 50m net spend in his first season with Liverpool then finishing 7th place in the league, out of both cups in the 4th round, and out of the Europa League in the round of 32. Chelsea's 50m is different and should have brought them silverware. Anything less is total failure. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Liverpool were not a CL level club when Rodgers took over nor did they win the CL 2 years ago. Exactly, completely different starting points. Not champions league quality but they were coming off the back of a couple of season where they'd invested 160m. The fact that they were still s*** despite spending all that money was just a delightful aside. Regardless, the point remains that Rodgers spent 50m and managed drag Liverpool from a lowly 8th to a lofty 7th place the following season. No one is going to argue that's a great return on investment. However, given time to put his team together Liverpool are now doing great. Mourinho will get the time too and it's next season he should be judged. Rodgers is evidence of that. Yep. Taking over a team that finished 3RD and won a European trophy (While you have previous history at managing at the league and a club), is exactly the same as taking over a team that finished 8th, with record losses in a decade....relegation form for second half of the season. This whole revisionism about Chelsea is amazing. Somehow, Torres/Ba/Eto'o is considered a very poor set of strikers, where 95% of clubs would fucking kill to have it. And LMAO at Chelsea's net, as if They were forced to sell. Mourinho, himself, and intentionally ostracized and then sold Mata. No one forced him to. No one also forced him to loan Lukaku or Courtois. These are the decisions he's paid 10M/year to make. Mourinho's approach may get him big wins at Anfield and Etihad, but it also backfires and leads to away losses at Villa and Palace. What goes around, comes around.

Wouldn't be so sure of that yet bro That would be truly incredible. That would require both City and Liverpool losing this coming weekend. No, it simply can't happen. I'll walk the trophy to Froggy and his mates sooner than having Chelsea won it. Can't imagine us failing to grasp a life-line if one offered by Everton. Back to this game: Beautiful scoreline. Immaculate. When you play Mourinho-ball, as long as you deliver results and trophies, the owner and fans don't mind. But once they stop coming, you have zilch to fall back on and get zero sympathy either. That's what seal Mourinho's fate in Madrid, and what caused his departure first time around in 2007. Defeat at Villa Park after a numb home draw vs. Rosenberg at CL in a half-empty bridge. He'll get another 100M this summer, but if it's not looking good, Roman will pull the trigger. We're talking about a criminal who fell in love with football after watching R.Madrid-Man Utd tie in winter of 2003, and wanted to replicate that type of game in his club.... GET THE FUCK IN !!

Mole eating that humble pie tonight Was craving for an all Madrid final all the time, so hope Atleti get it right tomorrow. Last minute equalizer through Costa cheating would be perfect. Glad for Carlo, a real gentleman of the game. Did what Mourinho or not other Madrid manager in the last decade couldn't do in his first try, and in an emphatic style. Just a shame Xabi won't be playing in Lisbon.

I'm sure he'll be content with the Champion's League. He won't be winning it. I believe in La Decima. Cheers DJ, I will be lasting here for decades to come hopefully.
-
^ Yep. One thing is great though. It will be either City/Liverpool who win the league barring an unbelievable collapse on half of both teams, so this "Defend with 10 men" tactical masterclass have failed in the league this season, but hey, the genius Mourinho can brag about his "4 wins in 4 games against City/Liverpool" trophy.
-
^ It really will be interesting to see Glazers' action if Giggs win his remaining 3 games as well. You could tell Giggs really really want the job as well. And if another manages comes in, there is no way they'll want Giggs as assistant, knowing that a few bad results, and then he is ready to take over. so Giggs will have to leave the football club after a couple of decades. Truly poisonous situation.
-
Kudos for him for the result, but the wankfest and this "Tactical Masterclass" stuff is absolutely baffling. Did he include in his masterclass preparation that opposition captain will slip and gift them a goal? What is so mastery in camping with 8 players on edge of the box? Tactical Masterclass was Pep's Barca doing these 5-0 3 years ago. Tactical Masterclass was game 6 of Fischer-Spassky chess championship game, Tactical Masterclass was Klopp's 4-1 win over Madrid last year. Anyways, the man gets result no matter how ugly. Credit to him. But I'd hate to watch the shit he serves week after week. Jose to football, is what Ghenghis Khan was to human beings. Successful at conquering masses and adding land to its thing, but ultimately a forgettable prick. An absolute butcher of the beautiful game. Thankfully, he'll end up with zero titles for the second season in a row.

That was crushing yesterday. For the run to end through a "slip", but that vile club and sub-human c*nt of a manager, it was as the script had been written by Froggy and Bimpy. It was coming on the last day of my birthday weekend. Just soul-destroying stuff, worse than Athens. But hey, nothing is completely lost yet. Brummie and Neil can shake things up, or Carroll and Downing can finally contribute something positive to Liverpool. Everton are a proud football club and Bobby Martinez is a true gent, so they'll want to give it a good go in their last home game (also still could be caught by Spurs/Man Utd if not careful), so they'll be honest I am certain. I mean Barkley might be a brat thinking parking the bus for 90 minutes, wasting time after 2 minutes, and limiting the amount of ball-playing time to 50 minutes from the 90 is a "Tactical Masterclass", but Martinez isn't that dim. They usually don't do 2 poor results in a row, and I am sure they'll be up for it. So will City, but we'll see. Villa usually have one good game in them every couple of months, and they haven't had a single one since beating Chelsea 6 weeks ago. Clutching to the straws, but there may be one final twist left. And no, come back is not on for Parky. Even if Liverpool lose their final 2 games 10-0 each, Rodgers has won the N-O battle with Parky this season.

Conte is MON-esque in Europe.

Will take a massive bottle job if we lost to a Chelsea side without Cech, Terry, Hazard and Ramires. Plus, for all the talk about a soft center, only Chelsea have a better defensive record in mini h-2-h table between the top 7 than Liverpool. Chelsea also have a single solitary win away against the top 7 this season, and 2 goals scored in 5 games. Not exactly as amazing as people think it is. have won 2 of their last 9 away games in all competitions. This thing may come back to bite me in the arse, but well, we'll find out. Think, we'll win by 2 goal margin in a rather dull game. Similar to City-Chelsea at the FA Cup.
