  1. Fair play to Moyes though, getting such a limited side to sixth is a fantastic achievement.
  2. In trouble here now, ASM Is our only creator, it’s either that or set pieces. Hopefully we can knock something but my optimism for anything out of this game is Low.
  3. Like most things, it’s probably bullshit.
  4. Think we will lose this tomorrow sadly. It’s very difficult to maintain such high levels of intensity with such Low possession and I imagine this maybe the case tomorrow. Wet spam to nick it by a goal

Aye, everything looks like it was filmed on an iPhone our social media and fan engagement has to pick up like.
  6. It’s not fair but they’ve sold it as a crime against sporting FairPlay. It’s obviously nonsense and is implemented in a way to stop anyone else competing. if they were serious they would either allow unlimited spending as long as it was underwritten by the owner, or impose a cap which would be based upon the previous largest spender so you could catch up with them. Basically, the rules are designed to stop anyone catching the big boys and threatening the revenue they generate. They want a closed shop.
  7. It’s a long read and actually not worth the time. the TLDR is the big boys want to stop anyone catching them and are using sponsorship rules to do that. City have found ways around it already by signing lots of small deals with related entities. basically everything we’ve discussed here previously.
  8. It’s definitely bollocks, the owners have been speaking about Howe in glowing terms in various pieces in the athletic.
  9. Interesting take. We will struggle to grow our club if we tie ourselves to such a capacity. I feel the clubs goal should be to create a stadium which can accommodate everyone who wants to go and attend in person, ideally at the current site if not then as close by as possible.
  10. It was January we were trying to buy players who teams were still in the champions league or pushing for titles.
  11. Much prefer we looked on the continent rather than being taken to the cleaners by fellow premier league clubs.
  12. Nothing as far as I’m aware; you can bet your bottom dollar the premier league would be changing the rules to make transfers based on some form of fair value though.
  13. Would absolutely love us to dismantle FFP. The most blatant anti competitive rule you are likely to find.
  14. All I know is it would be fantastic if we could pick up some of those quality players who are out of contract so we can maintain some head room for top class players.
  15. Was thinking this too, the effort the lads put in yesterday was incredible but I don’t think the intensity is sustainable. To play with such a press requires we control the game more and I think Bruno is the guy to help us do that.
  16. Gutted but glad to see the club communicate with the fans directly on this.
  17. No athletic and disinterested, you will only find such takes on NO ladies and gentlemen.
  18. Yeah, I was wondering about your central midfield, given how attacking your full backs are the demands on your central midfielders and and full backs are hefty. He’s setting you up to play like a big side, and we did see very small glimpses of it, he might need to adapt his ambitions in the medium term though or I fear you will concede a lot.
  19. Your team seems slightly unbalanced too me. Has this been a feature since Gerrard was appointed?
