  1. I plan to but will be tuning in late. Big deficit for them to turn over though.
  2. Still shocked and pleasantly surprised we are still in the market. I'm delighted to be proven wrong on this one
  3. If reports are to be believed they only get Cabella on loan with an option to buy.
  4. Lush pass from Pastore, beautiful technique.
  5. I really hope this is to move Sissoko centrally and Gini in midfield. Or is Sissoko going to play wide left? Thauvin clearly plays at his best on the right side no? I haven't seen enough of him to know mate. Maybe m4 can enlighten us. I think he's always been more effective on the right wing. But probably sees himself as a natural playmaker. Thank you sir

  7. I'm assuming they don't fancy Cabella out wide and prefer Gini or De Jong at number 10 hence letting him go and bringing in a more natural wide player.
  8. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-set-sign-marseilles-florian-6257724 Mirror Reporting Thauvin to sign this week.

    Sunderland

Taking a que from us, after all our captain was the man who guided us to relegation. ¿Que? r0cafella just making stuff up again. Nowt new. Please cite what I've made up in the past as well please. Aye, left Ameobi with a tap in. That pass was so mis-hit too btw. Was Imo. But fair enough.

    Steve McClaren

To be fair to him, we are getting exactly what we pay for. It's pretty sad we struggle to compete with the likes of Swansea though.

Support the team not the regime
  15. I'd go for that, but bring cisse on later. Think we need someone to hold up the ball when we do get it back. Ball retention is key. Yup, me too. I expect the same side that started against Southampton though.

    Steve McClaren

Nice little tonic for those saying McClaren was worse than Pardew (at the time of his appointment). Did anyone on here say that? Cronky doesn't count. I know I responded to a fair few comments along the lines of 'It's another Pardew', 'another English dinosaur'. Anyway, hopefully this better style of play is what we see every week. How are those the same thing? What I, and a few others, said was that Steve McClaren was an unambitious appointment with a very patchy record. Not the significant upgrade the club should have gone for, and I stand by that. You don't think he's a significant upgrade on Pardew? He is but Pardew shouldn't have ever been anywhere near the club.

  18. Yup streets ahead of Obertan. Can't believe i'm going to say this, but on the left he isn't He's as good as Obertan is on the left side and far better on the right.
  19. What's the rest of his game like? We are playing out from the back so I'm assuming he's better at that than Williamson
  20. How good is dunk is he actually good enough to play in the premier league for a mid table team?
  21. Nor should we for dross like Townsend.
