  1. Appointment to be made within the next couple of weeks according to the writer of the article. We love dragging stuff out
  2. Blanc might want to check our transfer status. Anyway, I guess I'm going to look like a c*** here, but am I wrong in thinking we should rather spend money elsewhere if this is true? I don't think Pogba suits us at all. I think he suites any club in the world and given the transfer ban I'm sure you will have rather a lot of cash to spend.
  3. They didn't have 80 applicants to wade through
  4. He is already for me, I've never seen anything like the original Ronaldo.
  5. Imagine making 3 attempts to get Mclaren and expecting the fans to buy season tickets off the back of it
  6. Either that or its to say we tried
  7. Same here. Reckon he'll be the only one desperate enough for the opportunity to take Carver and his merry men. Yup, all this news is a bit too convenient.
  8. This is what I'm guessing. Hard to be lover Viera would be their number one choice right now. The express have stated we will speak to a Forrin candidate whos under contract as well as Vieria and McClaren next week.
  9. Quoted in the event it comes true.
  10. I don't think he'll be the only candidate we look to speak to next week.
  11. Because he's not Carver or McClaren. He could genuinely be worse than both of them. There is no evidence he offers anything. Worse than Carver? That's the risk you take and personally speaking I'd rather we take some risks than appoint either of the two aforementioned.
  12. Because he's not Carver or McClaren.
  13. Ryder not tweeted saying no interest yet?
  14. Another potential plus, I can't see him working with our amateur set up.
  15. Wont we owe city compensation for this?
  16. Citeh's reserve coach. Is this really the best we can do?
  17. He ticks all the boxes for Ashley, Free, won't kick up any fuss, will work with Carver, will accept little say in transfers and won't raise anyone's ambitions. Perfect appointment.
  18. And us fans are apart of the reason why things are so dire. We are "OK" with a manager who has just been sacked from a championship club being appointed as manager. No matter how stupid some of our fans undoubtedly are, they can't be blamed for the state of the club. They certainly don't help matters with their apathy. But it's wrong to suggest the fans are to blame, they are not, Mike Ashley is. Considering the context, Mclaren isn't that bad. Sadly the context IS the problem. Apart of the reason yes, all of it no. Back to the topic, McClaren is a poor appointment which shows Ashley's bullshit words from a week ago to be exactly what everyone expected them to be.

  20. This post sums up how low expectations are these days. Nobody should be "ok" with such an unambitious appointment.
  21. This. Who could blame him? We are an absolute shit show.

    John Carver

Dare we believe?? No, we don't not until someone credible is appointed. I'm certain we will have to suffer this useless cunt in some capacity next year.

    Ryan Taylor

He's picked up a good living for 6 1/2 years in return for 2 memorable PL goals and fuck all else. He's the last player deserving of sympathy. Utterly abysmal footballer.
