Cracking post and absolutely. He's going to be extremely difficult to replace
-
He will be canny for them and makes much more sense. Theyve been waiting a year to get him already. The talk of Isak to arsenal is fanciful they wouldn't pay his clause to Sociedad so they won't be paying us his clause plus 100m
-
Different gravy incredible player
-
We look the better team and it's quite a comfortable game for us imo. Just need another one to extinguish any hope they may have.
-
It's as clear pen as you will ever see.
-
Stonewall.
-
Too lazy to go and dig through the rules, I thought this was removed as apart of cities case but let's see.
-
Are you sure this applies to none related parties? Slam dunk restraint of trade if so.
-
Because they are all happy with what they get. They do not want the shackles to come off as it would force the EFL to do the same.
-
If they were linked to our owners it would go through Fmv and be marked down. If it wasn't linked to our owners we would get the 200m
-
Squad cost going to cook us both. Cartel wins again. The poster is a donkey though, it's sustainable as long as the investor is willing to invest.
-
Actual loss and LSR loss are two different things.
-
We are at a very interesting place imo. All hinges on the stadium if they go balls to the wall they I'll be confident in our future. If they side step or continue to drag and delay then we are just an investment and we shouldn't expect much in the way of additional backing from them. We will still spend on transfers as they do want a return aren't they don't share the same philosophy as Ashley but I wouldn't expect us to mix it with the catel clubs in such a scenario.
-
Well the rules are changing to squad coat which for ourselves will mean they become even more stringent. In terms of this silly letter it's just a heads up to expect to pay more for everything These rules cement the current order, no matter how things look in the short term clubs like Manchester United will continue to have much larger operating budgets than ourselves despite they are drowning in debt and spend a fortune and us being debt free and backed by a sovereign.
-
The first part of what your saying is spot on. The second part about imposing them on everyone I don't agree with. To me, it's quite obvious the rules are applying to everyone the lack of activity this window really does display that. As I've said many times, these rules on the whole are great for everyone apart from those who want to get above their station. (Us, Villa and forest namely). Most of the owners in the league know they can't compete financially so they are more than happy to ride the PL gravy train whilst limiting competition from behind them.

IF PIF are willing to fully bank roll us yes.

Safety only joking detected.

They all voted for it so should be well aware of the impact plus these rules obviously affect the ambitious ones the most. Btw glad to see your back and posting again

No, they aren't. Amortization is basically the cost of players transfer fees.
-
In 2023 our amortization plus salaries were higher than turnover. To be compliant we would need to reduce either turnover or amortization or sell someone. Rancid rules.
-
Our wages alone are more than 70% iirc. I said when this was published this will absolutely cripple us.
-
The reasoning for that is due to alignment with Uefa rules which is fine in principle. The issue is the punishments which do and will continue to differ.
-
One thing is clear, Forest absolutely took the piss out of us. Give us one of your best young talents we will give you one of the worst goal keepers in premier league history and 15mil.
-
The rumblings over the past couple of days seems to indicate he might fail the no dickhead rule. Also isn't he right footed? For my money we are desperate for a left footer for the right flank.
