  1. You'd think Anita was Clarence Seedorf the way people go on mind. Is he better than Tiote ? Yes
  2. Love the Liverpool Hyperbole. They are perfectly suited to the 3-5-2 because they beat the worse team in the league 3-1 at home. Comical.
  3. f*** knows what's going on with him. He's not even on the bench?
  4. Certainly worked a treat at Everton before the complete disaster of bringing Cisse back at Cardiff. Goal threat I'm on about not w*** defending. Liverpool will be absolutely over the moon that Cisse's not playing. I know he's become most people's primary NUFC hate figure (certainly not mine) but he's still our best central striker by some considerable distance. I disagree. He offered very little for far too long now. Gouff isn't the natural finisher which Cisse is but his attributes suit are style better Our style is to rely on individual brilliance from the front players. That's not Gouffran. Been a long time since Cisse performed any miracles as well. Let's give Gouff a try and see if he's up to it

  6. Exactly I just hope we go out from the first whistle trying to win the game and don't sit back trying to protect a draw.
  7. I look at the Roma midfield and die of envy. Italian football has been really dynamic this season
  8. Pardew trying to implement a Rudi Garcia system But it probably would yeah. Deleted my post in error. Roma did take a bit of a risk hiring him but as I'm sure everyone knows he's doing fantastic job
  9. We can win this especially if Liverpool persist with the 3 at the back. As I always say, I don't mind if we lose as long as we actually try to win and give it our all
  10. I'm hoping Taylor is picked ahead of MYM as well, no better opportunity to prove his qualities than against Sturridge and Suarez alongside fellow Brit Mike Williamson. Really hoping this is sarcasm
  11. I disagree about him being a really good footballer but i think he's a great finisher

Agreed. But then it doesn't mean we have to all sit back and accept it. If he's appointing his mates to run our football club and they aren't doing a good job why should we let Pardew or Kinnear off the hook? They are getting paid to manage Newcastle, with it there comes certain expectations. If they aren't up to it, then they should expect criticism. Paid properly... According to the sun Pardews 8 year contract is with 25 million http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4560310/Alan-Pardew-signs-eight-year-contract-at-Newcastle.html
  13. Just a PR move IMO. Can't see the likes of Arsenal reducing prices by 60%

I just realise the top 6 have improved greatly over past couple of year and the task of catching them up is becoming harder. It's a tough league, just got to try and keep pushing on and bring the calibre of players like Remy to the club. Not an easy task but we have improved the talent within our squad over the years but just not as quickly as the top teams can afford to do it. Ignoring the semantics of being a very good side for the moment (fwiw a very good side shouldn't be happy with 8th imo) I don't think those sides have improved in so much as the others have fallen away. The collective gap is still the same imo. The only teams that have clearly improved are Liverpool imo. Arsenal look better, but the rest have dropped a level in quality or remained the same, imo. I Think we discuss improved it's very much "on paper" are present. Sure the likes of Swansea, Norwich, Spurs etc have improved their squad on paper but at the minute the results aren't bearing it out. I think that a good season for us would be a cup and a finish of 8th personally.

    Something Altidore will never do.

Yea he's not much of a goal threat though. I think he runs the channels and holds the ball up quiet well. I think he's more athlete than footballer though
  17. No idea why spurs bought him tbh. Another poacher when they already have Defoe. A lukaku / benteke would have been a better signing imo
  18. Stupid but true - refs are not supposed to caution the player as long as there is contact. Thank you for the enlightenment, I wasn't aware of that.
  19. Either these are fouls or dives, give a free kick or book the people going down

I wonder if anyone still believes appointing PDC was the right move. It was the right move for them, the error was giving him that 3 year contract lol Pretty sure they could have appointed a number of managers who would have given them the same 'bounce' without bulldozing the club. Either way it makes great entertainment
