Unless your Alan Pardew that is. Baffles me, while he isn't a good manager he isn't daft. How does he look at our squad and think it works, truly amazing he keeps going back to it. Surely after seeing us play well against Liverpool and the first half at Cardiff, why go back to it. It really baffles me. It's his nature I think. But his lack of conviction tells me he actually has no self belief in his managerial abilities.

Edited there for you. he's not the problem simply another symptom. The problem is Ashley and a moronic transfer policy and the thinking that just buying players from one sub-par league is a good idea. Plenty of very good players have come from the French league. yes but that doesn't mean you just do all your transfer business there. Other leagues exist, the lower leagues exist. Plenty of very good players have come from there too. Not this again, We've bought from other leagues. The players we've brought from France aren't second rate donkeys. Time to accept that Pardew is out of his depth managing this style of player as he was at West Ham when he benched Tevez and Mascherano.

You think we had worse players than sunderland out there? on paper they're better but where was the effort? the desire? the f***ing guts? So in reality Sunderlands players were better because they gave a s*** today. Ours will continue to pick up their big wages and not give 2 s***s about losing that game. Wrong. Lack of tactics and any sort of shape cost us today. Sunderland are gash and if we had a decent manager we wouldn't have had any problems.
  6. still no buyer so don't count on it. If he wants to sell badly enough there will be a buyer. He won't sell at a loss so no buyer is correct.
  7. Agreed. Tedious WUM nonsense that everyone should ignore. That's absolutely pathetic lads, for real. It's a joke. All I said was we were better in the second half, which is a fact. Ian better but nowhere near good enough. Don't you agree?

Table could look drastically different in 4 games time. I can't help but wonder how things would have been if we would have got a good manager in the summer. We are so near to challenging for a europa league spot but so far at the same time.

11 points with after our fixtures is not good. Winning today would have made them only ok imo. Yup this is how i feel too.

3 points off the relegation zone and some people thought we'd made a decent start to the season
  11. Time to talk to victor valdes city
  12. He's been shit for awhile though. Personally I won't judge any of our players until they are coached and managed by someone who is competent.

  16. Newcastle United refuse to take questions from Chronicle following derby defeat NUFC manager Pardew was gagged by his press officer in front of the national media following this afternoon's 2-1 defeat on Wearside Alan Pardew refused to take questions from the Chronicle, Journal and Sunday Sun after Newcastle United's 2-1 loss to Sunderland . The club believe that the Chronicle's coverage of the the Mike Ashley protest before the game with Liverpool was too harsh. And subsequently, Pardew was gagged by his Press officer in front of the national media after the painful reverse on Wearside as he lost his second successive derby. However, Pardew did say to the rest of the Press pack: "We had two or three good chances at 1-1. "If we'd taken one it could have been different. "Unfortunately we didn't get it. "They had one chance in the second half and smashed it in." Pardew was then asked questions by both the Journal and Chronicle but before answering the questions was stopped by club Press officer Wendy Taylor who said: "Sorry you can't ask any questions." Pardew was then asked by the national media why he wouldn't answer questions but did not respond. He did go on to say: "I feel really disappointed for our fans. "And for the team, they didn't deserve that. "They deserved to win." Pardew was then asked again by the Chronicle to answer a question but was stopped for a second time by the club's Press officer. It is understood that the decision to ban the Chronicle and sister titles was made collectively by Alan Pardew, Joe Kinnear, Lee Charnley, John Irving and Mike Ashley http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-refuse-take-questions-6246275
  17. Thank him for what? waiting for the shit hit the fan to start speaking the truth?
  18. They won't though. Ashley is rich will sell on his terms only. The bank don't own a piece of the club like they did Liverpool. We are fucked until Ashley has bled us dry sadly
  19. As if Anita doesn't get a look in. Ridiculous. Why send your best player from the first half dozen games on when you can send Shola on to play in midfield instead? Pardew Logic. Aye a ridiculous decision but you just knew it was the tactic of Shola dropping in the flick on direct balls to Cisse. Which i might add has never ever worked between those two......EVER. This is what I don't understand, why do the players keep pumping it long surely they could see it wasn't working? It's truly baffling isn't it. But we did it most of last season. Tbf it's been much better this season but why resort to it because Sunderland started the game ok. Just keep playing and the quality will win most of the time. Hoofing with players it doesn't suit is mental. I think Pardew likes to fight Fire with Fire. He's done it before when we've been up against a big team. And for the umpteenth time that ploy hasn't worked against a crap team. Pardew is a thick f***er like. We've played some decent stuff this season at times and should have stuck with it against the worst team in the league. Swansea showed if you play and stick with it you will turn over crap like Sunderland. Pardew is at panic stations against them, just useless. Exactly mate, but we both knew this day would be around soon. We've given him credit when he got us decent result but you can't polish a turd. I've been saying that, eventually his averageness will drag us down. He just isn't good enough at this level. Like many have said though, i dread who Kinnear will appoint. I think it'll be Kinnear more than Ashley who chooses the manager imo. I think your being generous calling him average to be honest. I'm faster getting to the stage with Pardew where it's "anyone but Pardew" I can't imagine playing under him and having any sort of self belief. I agree but the "anyone but Pardew" scares the s*** out of me. Not that i want Pardew to stay mind. Me too but let's face it. Being worse than Pardew would take some doing. The only football manager I know without any sort of football philosophy
