  1. It's a win/win is this. Sunderland win and Ball gets the job Man U win and Sunderland are 6 a drift. Wonder if they can tempt Saggy Face Redknapp to the job

Fuck off and we'll have it
  3. He is out of contract this summer. Cheaper than he would have been a few months ago, he's our type of signing down to a tee. Aye He'd have to be about 3 million in January. His height would be useful for defending set penis' too.
  4. Got their summer signing fella to come in still like but aye I agree, they're very one paced too. They're a bit like us, dont cross it, dont really build it up that well, look like they need a bit of magic (Mutch second half). Ah i see why, Malky, Pardew's padawan learner This is exactly what I thought watching them. Then it dawned on me, we are f***ed if Remy gets injured for any amount of time. Aye, but i think we will buy a striker in January, which will help. I hope so mate. Striker has become essential again due to Cisse's poor form, I'm not sure if you'd want to take Remy off the left side given the level of his performances there. Two games left side and 4 goals, it would be a bit daft to move Remy now imo. Bring another striker in, Cisse either plays better or not at all. Back in for Gomis come January?

Doesn't it concern you we totally lose our shape in the second half and we dropped too deep which created the space for Mutch? I like your optimism but tactically the second half wasn't great from our point of view and it's hardly the first time it's happened under Pardew. Aye, it was nail biting s***. Not sure we particularly "lost" our shape. We basically played with 2 at the back first half People want the moon 0n a stick though, they want attractive attacking football with wing backs bombing forwards and creating chance after chance...but they also want a solid back line of 4 keeping shape and concentration avoiding any gaps leading to mistakes. Bayern Munich can pull that off, but I think it asks a lot of Mike Williamson et al. I'm sorry but a "footballer" playing at the highest level of the English game should be capable with the ball at his feet. FFS some keepers are better with the ball at their feet than Williamson is, this is a big issue and the fact it hasn't improved throughout his time here really points at a lack of quality coaching. And we did have shape in the first half, the shape was very aggressive due to us playing in that manner. We got tight in the first half, we pressed well high up the pitch in the first half we looked like a team in the first half. If the drop off doesn't concern you then I'll leave you in blissful ignorance sir. How do you think Cardiff's performance changed second half in comparison to the first? Of course Cardiff came out with their ears ringing second half, that's not even for debate but our levels dropped, our tactics changed. We went in at half time with an attitude of we are going to score more and keep out foot on the throttle and in the second half that mentality changed. One sure fired way to concede chances is to be indecisive, dropping deep without becoming compact, defending with width but not getting tight. This is exactly how we we're for spells in the second half and it's no different to how we defended in the first half vs Everton. As I've said if this doesn't concern you that's fine but for me personally it's a huge concern because tactically it's not good enough.

  8. Aye really goes to show how great of a manager Fergie was imo. He always made the sum of the parts perform to a much higher level than the individual ones.

Should have been 2 up but Gardener failed to make a decision.

    Looking forward to this
  14. It was, but it's fashionable to slate him regardless these days. He can't hold it up, he's too slow to run in behind and misses chances because his first touch is lacking. The fact this is best performance for awhile speaks volumes about how shit he's been.
  15. Cisse just needs dropping. I think a front 3 of Remy Gouff and Ben Arfa will be pretty lethal. especially considering Gouff can run in behind and hold it up.
  16. No just no, Why would we man mark Craig Bellamy, He's not Messi He might as well be when he plays against us. I never considered that mate, apologies.
  17. Our the fact he has acres of space to operate in and we aren't even bothering to get tight might be the reason why. He can't even get in Cardiffs first team tells you how good he actually is.
  18. hhaahahahhahahaha jonas Sorry lads I can't do anything but laugh.
  19. We've dropped right off again this is back to our usual form now.
  20. I'm not surprised at us conceading to be honest. Williamson is always likely to do this due to him being appalling when the ball is anywhere near his possession.
  21. Out intensity has dropped, we are dropping that bit deeper and the pressing is becoming less cohesive. We need to maintain our focus and positive attitude here.
