  1. This is a good shout: My team would be : Krul Santon Colo Yanga Dummett Anita Moussa HBA Marv Sammy Gouff I think this gives us a good balance of giving some youth a chance whilst also getting the fitness levels to where they should be as well as building some understanding. I would give HBA a rest and give Bigi a place in the side somewhere. Still more than enough firepower in there to see off Morecambe. Infact I'd probably put Gosling in there as well instead of Sissoko if we want to keep him fresh for Fulham. I think Hatem needs games personally. I'd like to see Moussa and Anita build a partnership in midfield, it's the 3rd game of the season man no need to be resting players at this stage. As for Gosling i wouldn't have him near the side

    Alan Pardew

Aye only at NUFC does such nonsense happen. That Mag article read as if Pardew had written it himself.
  5. If only Pardew had such tactical sense
  6. Just be honest Mark, There will be no movement period.
  7. Given how little they paid I'm sure they don't mind. In fact I'm pretty sure it is apart of the deal
  8. Easily. He's as good if not better than Wilshire IMO
  9. Guess Sissoko isn't a centre-midfielder, then. f***ing clueless, man. That's actually the worse combination we could possibly play.
  10. But, but, but there wasn't any good deals, hardly Joe's fault He's been too busy taking holidays and playing golf. To think we indirectly pay this cunts wages
  11. Kinnear brought in to buy players and buys no one. You could not make it up
  12. Cavani has just scored for PSG. Cavani and Zlatan seem to enjoy playing together too
  13. Don't worry lads, the local rags with have some rumours this week

Are you serious?! what have we been doing at home that's anything close to that! Losing by 3 to Sunderland and not scoring a single goal, and losing by 6 to Liverpool and not scoring a single goal. Pardew needs to f*** off at this point. A complete and utter fraud and charlatan. Where did i say he doesn't need to f*ck off? just i struggle to understand the slitting of the wrists mentality two games in. Last season and seeing hardly anything has changed in his tactical approach (less long balls imo mind). We actually look less organised too, if that was possible. I'm not sure about that. Any set piece in our own half is still hoofed up field for that 6"7 giant cisse. Don't get me on that, it drives me mad, it's utterly pointless and a continuation of same useless tactic from last season. I know it was only a small thing but our corners and free kicks in and around the box were a bit better. Not floated, a small victory It's a big issue imo, we gift the ball back to the opposition every time we do it! It drives me mad too mate, in fact it's my biggest pet peev with Pardew because it's the easiest thing for him to change
  16. And would you not say, saying we can't compete with the Southampton, Cardiff for transfers and not even compete on the pitch with Man City. And hoping we have enough to get past Morecombe, and telling us we are at a level with the West Ham's. Doesn't that show small time thinking ?. Don't bite bimpy. He's either a WUM or.....he just sees the world differently. He's entitled to his opinion like. What i don't get with people who think Pardew should get more time. How bad do we have to play to for them to realise how bad he is. All the goals conceded last season, losing 9 games at home, 0-3, 0-6, 0-1, Losing to Reading at home. I saw something stats wise about our last 10 or so games. It was ridiculous, 6 scored, 23 conceded. Those were with 5 new players and as good as after we were knocked out of the Europa league. Deny the obvious when it's on fire in front you, i dunno what their thinking really. Sack him now for all I care - but things wont get any better. I said sack him 8 months ago, but you're right, things may not get better but can they get worse than what were seeing now. We can't score, we can stop letting them in (yesterday aside), we play awful football. As much as i detest JFK we wouldn't be as meek and gutless if he was in charge of the team. Although I don't think it would be him, it'll be his appointment however. Well JFK can and will sack Pardew - which is why he hasn't backed him - in my opinion. We're playing some reasonable stuff at times - yesterday Ben Arfa's pass to Cisse to cut it back for a Sissoko shot was beautiful football - it just needs to be ingrained into our style which will take a while. I think our average long balls last year was 70 (SEVENTY) per match we played 40 odd yesterday so he is trying but perhaps in the same sense a cat will scratch the bulldog that is tearing it's throat out. So I do think our one touch stuff has improved but we do seem direction-less. For me the major change will come from - A. Backing the manager properly. B. Sacking the manager. for now we are stagnating. Longer than 2.5 seasons? The stream of evolution is a constant flow. As is the managerial merry-go-round. The quicker Pardew gets on it the better.

Sacking the manager. for now we are stagnating. Agreed there, i dont care what those stats say my own eyes told me we were playing less long balls. Thing is Pardews style has always brought limited chances (a few games aside). I dont think he can change form that. Stagnating is spot on, although i think the team is to extent because of him and what he tells them. They need a different voice and different ideas. Actually might help if a new coach was to come in under Pardew, but if that was going to happen it already would have imo. Yeh I'd agree there - our backroom staff are shocking - I think TOOJ has made that point several times. They need to do one or the other though - get behind Pardew or get rid of him because at the moment we are knacked. We wont go down but we'll be lower midtable with a lot of discontent. At the end of the day Shola is still in contention to start - in 2013. Even just some new ideas - from a lesser manager - could act as a catalyst - to drag something from some good players. Still it breaks my heart where we are now. I think I see a different, more horrible, picture, than most on here and Pardew isn't the face of it merely a veneer of a bigger problem. I felt he was backed in January personally. And the improvement was negligible at best.
  19. This, Pardew sucks the creative life out of our team
  20. He didn't have a great game yesterday but he really lacked a proper pre season hardly played. I saw him look for the ball quite a lot to be honest
  21. Didn't Marv get the most assists for us last season?
  22. Keep him unless our valuation is met. Just like Everton, Liverpool, Tottenham et al do.
  23. I think we do need another midfielder if he's sold on top of a winger & a striker. If one of Sissoko or Anita gets injured we will then have to suffer the likes of Jonas and Tiote playing central midfield, that's worked so well over the last 12 months.
