  1. The classic deserves another chance as he guided us to a 5th place finish against all odds will no doubt be rolled out.
  2. His position wasn't under threat at any point last season despite assaulting a player and making us suffer another season of turgid unwatchable football. In fact he was rewarded with a bonus
  3. I'll believe that when I see it.
  4. This sentence just goes to show how low our expectations are. I fully agree though, first 11 wise we are weaker than this time last year. You would be amazed how many fans dont think that. Its not that hard to remember the team with Debuchy/HBA/Cabaye/Remy getting 33 points by the turn of the year is it? We both know a lot of our fans are lead by the nose.
  5. Any of them likely to hit 10 PL goals? Can't see it. Nada, not a chance
  6. Guessing that they'll try to tie it in with flogging the second half as Xmas presents? Not that it matters anyway, won't be getting one for a while yet. Out of interest, what's ur criteria for going back, Pardew gone, Ashley gone? or Pardew gone a decent manager installed and Ashley showing more ambition? Haven't got one particularly. I'll certainly not even consider it whilst Pardew's there - that's out of the question. If Pardew goes I'll wait and see who's appointed and if it signals a change in ambition other than just surviving in mid-table obscurity for the foreseeable. Appointing a manager who wants to develop players and play a nice brand of football could also sway it?

  8. Not sure Wolves are circling mate. unlike days of old the main problem with us and getting strikers to score on a consistent basis is lack of service and failure to play to the strikers strengths.
  9. Looks accurate based on what I saw. Especially considering he can create chances for himself which is practically a must in our side.
  10. Is he a leader through because? No point buying another centre half who is a mute
  11. Coped lol, Huddersfield away and all we can do is cope against the world class of Jon stead
  12. I hope so mate, with him playing next to willo i have my concerns however. He's just so bad with the ball at his feet by the time he's taken a touch he feels his only option is to lump it long.
  13. Really does sound like we're going to just carry on the way we ended last season, plus side is that maybe it could spell the end for Pardew. Apart from the 10 minute experiment of us trying to play out from the back and frankly looking clueless doing so it did seem very much the same as last season. Willamson has the ball at his feet with time and lumps it up field with Janmaat looking on in disgust It feels like we've spent very little time actually practicing these things hence when we try to implement them it looks rather chaotic.
  14. Too lazy for ratings tbh lads sorry. But for me the standouts were: Janmaat Riviere & Ayozé coming off the bench. I know it's only a friendly but given the players we had out on the pitch I expected a higher level of performance. No urgency shown whatsoever throughout the game and we looked happy to take a 1-1 after they equalised.
  15. Ayoze was actually quite impressive leading the line he's clever with the ball at his feet always wriggling around squeezing between tackles
  16. No problem mate I hope it was somewhat useful.
  17. No chance not one sound of dissent here
  18. Garbage all in all though We are going to struggle this season. 9 players brought in and we still need to strengthen every area lol
  19. He clapped them didn't hear give us a wave or anything
  20. Quick free kick from Ayoze after a tactical foul from Huddersfield
  21. BTW chucky was anonymous Ayoze looks a better bet than him.
