  1. But stability man! It will bring us success in the long run
  2. 7 Clean sheets all season on a Par with Sunderland and Hull. Some compactness that.
  3. I agree he's often too negative. Not working on set pieces for a year or two just puzzled the f*** out of me. Really bizarre. WTF Not sure what you mean about the ocean of space necessarily as not so long ago we had a great run of form that was built on our compactness and ability to press as a team, so clearly that's not a chronic problem. Overall, tactically, I think he's average. Nothing great, lacking in imagination. From time to time we've got something going, but never fashioned an identity of any kind. Tactically he's workmanlike, a damp squib. If that's your belief I give up. You think it's outrageous that I think Pardew is an unremarkable tactician? Because you wanted me to say "I have never in my life seen anyone as tactically useless as the idiot Alan Pardew, who has no clue whatsoever how to assemble a football team", something like that? And anything less harsh is insane? You called us compact yet we've conceded the same as Sunderland this year. He's tactically poor and thats with him bringing every player back any time someone has a go at us.

  5. Let's shift gears and discuss his tactics. Any managers meat and drink. Trollemache what do you think of Pardew tactic gems which consists of. Not attacking until the 70th minute Or how about the floated set pieces we lump to the back post? Or that ocean of space in front of our back 4 the opposition has to play in week in week out?
  6. Called a numpty be a person who believes we have a viable transfer policy and a manager who is fit for purpose We've a transfer policy that is working so far and an average manager, and you're at least a bit of a numpty. Which transfer policy is that? The one which allows us to buy players when we are in danger of relegation? Or the one which means we sell our best players because we can't match their ambition? Average in which regard? In the special Olympics maybe? I know you aren't calling Pardew a average premier league manager?
  7. Or we are in danger of relegation. I think it's much more likely we get 1 or 2 over the line in the summer and see how it goes until January. Oh right, just like last summer when we only bought in Anita

  9. You sound like Pardew with this one. It's always next time, or later or next transfer window. Same as it's always science, or sovereign states or best player sold. Personally I'm tired of hearing the next time excuse trotted out
  10. Best £5m we could spend is getting shot of the spunkdumper. Couldn't agree more. I wish people would realise that Pardew has us set up to play in a way which doesn't suit the personel he has. Definition of poor management imo
  11. As we have seen no point buying better players If the manager is a clogger
  12. How Webb didn't give that I'll never know.
  13. Same dope who claims science is against us
  14. Because he's damaged goods who's desperate for a job. Also because Ashley will give him money?
  15. I agree with the sentiment but give me Hoddle over pardew any day. As we aren't going anywhere as a club might as well make a fist of playing Decent football It's ridiculously short sighted though. Back to square 1 when we realise that Hoddle isnt actually a good manager. Aye, Pardew will have gone but it's hardly the progression we should want to see. The bloke hasnt finished above 9th in the PL in his entire career man, what makes anyone think he's going to do any better a decade on!? The 'anyone but Pardew' mentality is stupid, because it'll just be 'anyone but the man that replaced Pardew' within a short space of time. It's needs to be the right man. History shows we have never had the right man under Ashley though. And fwiw I think hoddle would do a better job that Pardew.
  16. Remy out wide for Gouffran, De Jong in the middle for me. To get the most out of de Jong as a lone striker I think we will need runners from midfield running beyond him. Knowing pardew and his negative tactics I can't see it happening
  17. Part of me think this. The other part of me thinks Ashley would like a manager who can add value to the players he buys and sell at a profit weather Pardew is doing enough of that for his liking is debatable

  19. No I don't think their is. I think their are people on here who think Hoddle is better than he is because we have a car crash
  20. How long has it been since he held a role at the highest level of the game? As manager did he win any major honours?
