Everything has gone so well for him because literally the club and its personell have been an absolutely perfect fit for him. Low expectations last season after Warnock so no real pressure on him - hence the lack of his cowardly football as of yet.
Decent base already there in defence and speedy wingers with a player in Murray who could grab them goals. No surprise they are better away from home and have been pretty poor at home. With the new signings they have made and their start the arrogance meter is really turning up.
But we all know his methods/football are not sustainable long term. Matter of time now.
I know we are all in total paranoid mode but I really think this is a case of transfer Bingo from the Mail.
If it's all over the place in the morning then aye but until then nowt to worry about man
Wrighty is a joy to listen to like.
Palace will get Europe, Pardew is soo tactically astute, Marriner gave a magnificent refereeing performance in the face of those nasty Geordies.
You can bet during the next round of PL games cards will be scarce and blatant bookable/sending off offences will go unpunished.
Just no consistency, why are these refs so s*** at this level man? Baffling
I forgot how f***ing diabolical that challenge was! Martinez was a f***ing disgrace after that match as well.
Not even a yellow, think it got given as a foul so no retrospective action could be taken because the ref saw it. That odious t*** Whealen defended it as well
He let one slip yesterday to the media. Said this was "my best performance" since being manager rather than "our" as in referring to his players.
You just know when things go tits up he will throw them under the bus to save his own skin the arrogant c***
Just so f****** deflating.
More positives to take though, most of all our defensive organisation. Also good individual performances from Mbemba and Gini
