First time time this season that I've thought relegation is more likely than not. For a start we are horribly unbalanced as a side, we've got f*** all down the wings and zero creativity from the middle. Sissoko and Wijnaldum are good players but seriously, what positions are they supposed to be playing? Defensively we are as bad as ever and we lack pace throughout the side. We just can't score goals and we concede an absolute truck load, that means only one thing. There are no redeeming features with this side barring one or two individuals, zero leadership and a manager who looks absolutely clueless. Alan Pardew was awful but even he scraped a few results which turned into a flurry which saved our skins and it was usually around his time of year. Down

These aren't that good like. They are on one of them runs where they can do no wrong but they weren't that impressive in their last game against Watford. Gomes let in what was practically a back pass and then gave away an absolutely ridiculous penalty. They are capable going forward but can be quite dodgy at the back so they will give you a chance. 1-3 defeat it is.

God, this Palace side are just about the perfect fit for him. Dann looks like a pretty good CB and the rest of their defence isn't bad. Pace and power in the wide areas and then hoy Cabaye in the mix. They don't score many like, will it all come crashing down? Still very much convinced it will

He's a class act but we really need get our play going through him a lot more. The system we play is not getting the best out of him at all. I'd play him central in a 3 man midfield with Sissoko and Tiote, ahead of that play Perez, Thavin (ideally Aarons) with Mitro as the focul point. Going forward we could be quite fluid and interchangeable, defensively we could drop into a 5 man midfield with Perez and Thauvin wide if need be. Drop this Anita/Tiote central midfield and we instantly become better at both ends of the pitch.

This system we are playing does him no favours like. But aye we need better quality at LB. He seems to be regressing, the one thing you could normally say about him is that he is solid.

I don't think our players attitude is an issue at all tbh, players deficiencies yes. A solid goalkeeper and back 4 along with our current forward options would see us win this comfortably in all likelihood. We might still win it but it really feels like anything could happen including a bad loss with our options in defence and CM.

What is this saucery? Being able to appoint a competent manager within a week and not hire the local village idiot for half a season and almost lead you into oblivion.

Our bacon was saved last season by those flurry of results in October and November. We are two games into our supposedly easier run and we've picked up 1 point, we are in massive trouble if we don't beat Bournemouth and at least 1 of either Leicester or Palace.
