    John Carver

just received this from my enquiry yesterday to chat with him Thank you for your email. John Carver will be meeting with the fans involved in the incident near the dugout. Unfortunately it is impossible to invite every fan in to have a talk with him. Kind regards, NUFC Box Office

i have also done this.. everyone else should as well
  3. It's more of a statement to stay away if you've already paid as well. Ashley is going to be sweating the more people who stay away even though it costs them money. why will ashley be sweating he literally will not give a damn
  4. You have nothing to lose, you can still go into town as per normal, go to the protest and watch it in a bar. Think of the greater good. ashley still has my cash for the game though, he doesnt care if im there or not The more empty seats in the ground, the more it's going to be talked about and mentioned in the media, which will make him squirm. The emptier the better for making a point. Sitting on the fence is no good at all. Either do something or do nothing and be happy with your lot. this is why i have the dilemma

  6. You may as well join in for this game mate, absolutely nothing to lose. It'll feel much better to be part of the however-many who took part. it will i agree, i have always believed in backing those on the pitch with the shirt on though regardless of everything going on around it
  7. im in two minds about this boycott i dont want to go because it does need highlighting and a statement made but... i cant bear not supporting my team and he already has my cash a sit in may have been better forcing them to keep the stadium open for hours afterwards ultimately costing them for police and stewards and leccy bills etc
  8. Keith Gillespie in the Village hotel, Silverlink, on saturday afternoon when i was there for me mates wedding
  9. aye im drinking in sunderland before hand so somehow have to get through the police lines and hordes of unwashed to get to our end
  10. I've always wondered if something like the FC Kaiserslautern stadium in Germany is possible for the east stand http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/62/Kaiserslautern_03.jpg Could extend up and back with another tier on top without necessarily adding depth at ground level (ie the need to get rid of leazes terrace). It wouldnt fit with the rest of the staium and probably look pretty ridiculous from the outside too. I think there's some laws about sunlight onto leazes terrace which would be blocked too though (could be remembering that completely wrong) that looks mint.. except we cant fill our ground as it is and dont need it
  11. is slim drunk? this is my club, made up of two clubs, to form united, oh what a great club we'll always be there, win lose we dont care we are the geordies of NUFC
  12. The old "win them with passion" method that was tried and failed in the derby. not for the other team it wasnt , on the last 4 occasions
  13. look at vinnies face man, he is proper gannin for it
  14. marlon harewood in eldon square last night
  15. jack rodwell gets in as well - they both live in Jesmond owned by Tom now who would have been doing the shaving and such and cant recommend it enough
  16. Not even a hundred million, just a quality centre half and centre forward to go with a manager and the majority of us would be fairly happy. Its frustrating when clearly we are capable of it. IMHO, we need two centre halfs as colo is regularly done by centre forwards these days We need a decent something to replace gouffran because i dont know quite what he is other than shite (not ben arfa tho before his loyal fanboys pipe up on here) we need a loic remy type of striker. On that note i would have been happy if he had chucked the money at remy to make him stay but clearly he wanted to be in that there London and not here. also to keep building we need to throw money at Krul to get him to sign a big contract and the likes of sissoko but currently they are the only two unreplaceables in our team.
  17. http://www.cityam.com/207730/newcastle-named-19th-richest-club-world-how-much-mike-ashleys-money-goes-transfers another article i know we are doing well on this side of the business with Ashley and im all for that in my opinion but i do wish he would just chuck a hundred million at our playing side and go for it. However im glad we arent Aston Villa, if they go down they are fucked and i hope they do
  18. As much as i hate to say it and have to laugh at his shady business practices and scarpering with stock, you have to have some brains and balls to pull it off on such a scale with actually no laws broken* Like he did with Adidas a few year back and then also tesco lately, he plays the game and wins. *circumvented... and such
  19. my prem league 11 is always shearer up top with henry and bergkamp in behind I remember seeing henry play on the right wing for Monaco against us in the UEFA cup or something when he was young and he was just fast as fuck
  20. No you dont. I do though, he's been fit and available for 4 years whilst Pardew has, at various times and for extended periods, instead opted for Papiss Cisse, Gabrielle Obertan, Yoan Gouffran, Sammy Ameobi, Ryan Taylor & Moussa Sissoko on the wings. Ben Arfa would be benched, or play 45 minutes, or come on for the final 10. It changed from week to week and was quite clearly a tactical decision from Pardew - who has actually said as much, multiple times. so theres your genuine reason then... tactical
  21. i can see this way of thinking and agree with you that lesser players than Baines would be terrified of getting there to support the attack because of the threat however taking baines as an example.. he puts the effort in to do both, he supports the attack then works his arse off to get back, same as Ashley Cole did and all top full backs do.
