Not for a while. We look very poor at the back if we haven't got our first choice defenders. We also look weak up top when Defoe doesn't start. Toivonen is one of the worst midfielders I've seen in our team while we've been in the Premier League. Will we go down? F*ck knows

Normal service is resumed

I'm actually enjoying seeing you lose. We're playing well. I'm a lot happier than I was 5 weeks ago. your in the bottom 3 daft f***er Bottom 2 actually Still relaxed at how we're playing. I'm not saying we won't go down but I'm more than happy with what Allardyce has done so far.

So what football are you lot playing?
-
They won't get thrashed 5-1 that's for sure. It's a horrible approach to the game but tbh for Sunderland it's probably the right one. it's an indictment of the way our club has been run that it might be the right one for us as well before too long. Don't know about horrible. I've quite enjoyed the last two games TBH. I'm not used to seeing our defence keeping clean sheets, although that'll probably come to and end today.
-
Me too. At least no one will say they didn't see it coming. I'd like to say I've enjoyed our time in the Premier League.........................but I can't. It's been f*cking wretched.
-
If both teams don't learn to defend then it's a very real prospect
-
If we win 9 I'll get a f*cking tattoo
-
Well two are nailed on. Probably down to your shit finishing than our excellent defending. Colback, Sissoko (I think) and Mitrovic had poor efforts in the last derby.
-
I think what Allardyce really wanted to say that the defence is f*cking appalling, which it is. Sadly for him he can't, even though every man and his dog can see it. If he can get that shower of shite to keep 4 clean sheets all season he's deserves a medal.
-
I don't think we could make a decent defence from both our clubs.
-
Normal service is resumed I was hoping Allardyce could sort out the f*cking mess we call a defence. Unfortunately it looks like it may be a lost cause. We look decent going forward, and could have easily scored 4 or 5 today, but our defence is f*cking woeful. Some of the positioning of the players today was as bad as I've seen from professionals. If we don't stop conceding goals that schoolboys would be ashamed of then I'm afraid we're gone.

Tell that to the poster I was replying to, he/she seems certain that they had sex.

There are countless allegations, many of them potentially libelous and/or in contempt of court, from NUFC fans on this and other threads regarding AJ, yet you think a couple of Mackems on here defending our justice system could be banned? Don't get too cocky, you're 4/5 fav at the minute. Can I place my bet by Paypal?

All I asked you for was the evidence which you are privy to and which the rest of us have not seen? You said there was no doubt in your mind that he'd had sex with the girl. I'm interested in what you have seen from the prosecution case which leads you to this conclusion? The fact that the CPS (not the police) have sent this to court is not an indication of his guilt. Thousands of people are found not guilty every year on cases which are put before the courts by the CPS. The gormless, ignorant supposition and hearsay which has surrounded this case is, at times, embarrassing, and does no favours to the otherwise sensible human beings who insist on repeating it. The case will be heard in February and we'll see what the '12 men good and true' decide. Until then almost every word spoken, typed, or written on the subject will be based almost entirely on ignorance of the facts, and skewed by something as meaningless as which football club you support.
-
What details of the prosecution case have led you to that conclusion? I don't know if AJ is guilty or innocent, possibly only two people do. We'll find out next year when all the evidence has been put before a jury, and until then we could well do without amateur cyber-lawyers using supposition, hearsay, and speculation to decide whether he has broken the law. As for his celebration? Only a cretin would believe it was mocking MH17. I notice the idiot who wrote the piece for the Telegraph has apologised and made a donation to the Bobby Robson Foundation. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/sunderland/11953699/Sunderland-3-Newcastle-0-match-report-Fabricio-Coloccini-sees-red-dreadful-derby-run-continues.html The Telegraph used to be a decent paper.

Quite happy if it's Allardyce. He's probably the best we can get at the minute, and hopefully he'll call the shots with Ellis Short and be left to run the team as he sees fit. I'll be gutted if he brings Nolan mind
-
Great isn't it I don't blame Advocaat for leaving, it's a fucking madhouse down there. F**k knows who in their right mind would work under the current system we have. I'm past caring TBH.
-
Surely not another manager? I'm struggling to keep up. It's the playing staff that are poisonous, not the gaffer.
-
I've been saying that for 3 seasons man! I'm actually more confident this season, which probably means we'll get flushed this time
-
I don't think we'll have a problem scoring goals, but our defence is as bad as I've seen it in the Premier League. If we can get a full back that can actually defend above the level of a 10 year old it'll be progress. At least it looks like it's going to be an exciting season, but possibly for all the wrong reasons. I'm used to it now. Bring it on.

so the worm has turned, you lot thought he was a t*** and wanted not to do with him, now yous are creaming ya knickers over him It's been a very long time since I 'creamed my knickers' over any signing. I've always wanted him to come back, and I never thought he was a twat, as he gave us something extra (I don't believe he's a striker). I just don't think he's worth £10m.
-
I liked Borini when he was here on loan, and he's definitely better than we have, but £10 million? We'll see.
