I'd agree, though I'd say 'limited' rather than 'awful' on the ball. He's unfortunate to be half-way between a centre back and a full back. Centre back in a back three probably sees him at his best. For a professional footballer he’s definitely awful on the ball. He’s afraid of the ball, and rightly so.

I have this on VHS somewhere, have watched it 10-20 times probably. When we were on top of our game we were amazing those days, easily the best in the country. Unfortunately when we weren’t we could be poor. If I remember correctly, after this game we went and lost to some cloggers.
