OK then, I'll rate it...it's been a nightmare really with the Isak saga and signings happening late in the window, but that doesn't mean we haven't signed some good players. But it is as someone here said, we don't know how good they are until around Christmas...A frustrating window of missing out (Trafford, Joao Pedro, Mbuemo, Ekitike, Sesko...) but here we go: Ramsdale good signing, although Trafford obviously would have been better long-term, Elanga potentially very good signing who'll fit right in with Eddie's football. I would have liked a better CB signing, Thiaw...I dunno. Let's see. Ramsey, same as Elanga pretty much, not exciting but potentially very good. Woltemade is the big one of course, and then we have Wissa who should guarantee goals. Selling Isak to Liverpool...I've been very clear about it, we should never have done it, but it's done. Overall, better depth in the squad but I had hopes for more quality and real class, more creativity, and not selling Isak. 6,5/10

It’s not just about which players you sign, it’s also when you sign them. Eddie wanted the players in early, that didn’t happen. We’ve played 3 games without a striker.

For a long time I’ve been thinking this makes sense.

A striker signed = good. Hope he’ll score goals.

So he gets his way. I feel sick. The owners need to sign 2 strikers now or fuck off.

Of course he's not bigger than the club, but selling him isn't in the best interest of the club. We shouldn't be strengthening Liverpool. Next summer more clubs will be interested and we can sell him abroad.

Can't see how selling our best player, one of the best strikers in Europe, to the team we're chasing - for a discount fee, would be as good as it realistically gets.
