I tell you what, this has been a pretty demanding past week for the fans. Firstly signing the takeover off, and now being responsible for the team not being able to play balanced football. What do we fancy doing this week lads? Fancy sacking Bruce?

We've seen already in Rafa, when we have the right manager installed and players trying the atmosphere can be electric. And that was at a time when Ashley was here and there was still no long term hopes. My biggest fear in the end with Ashley was that the fanbase was once and for all ruined, just 40 odd thousand consumers on cheap tickets there for the PL experience being delivered by the opposition.

Went to the match which was an experience, but was desperately trying to get on here pre game because I wanted to soak in all the little stuff too. Thinks like ant & Dec being there, seeing Al Rumayyan and his daughter(?) getting a warm welcome. Just want to soak all of that hope and positivity up, nothing wasted. Bruce's attendance slightly soured things but the fans largely ignored him until the end which I think is fair. Had to keep telling myself during the large swathes of silence watching that unorganised disaster on the field , that this isn't the same club anymore and things WILL get better from now on.
