Yes it may be awkward to him, but it's a massive blow to ourselves and our progress so you would think he would've approached the club and thrashed it out. Not sure how having secret meetings and basically saying "I want to make us good overnight so give me your top class employees or else I'll cwy" is the best strategy to take. Previously, I'd agree with that sentiment. Think it's a tad unfair to call fans out for what is quite clearly mismanagement of epic proportion. England isn't the best side in the Euros, but nobody can tell me that side should be playing the way it has for such a prolonged amount of time. Gareth just hasn't adapted at all to the veritable wealth of decent players at his disposal. I'd love for England to do well, just think they will always be hamstrung by our management teams adverse nature to taking any risks.
