Bet that made their day man! I know it would make mine seeing Bruno!
-
It's so weird seeing him back in the team after what feels like forever. Radge bastard.
-
No other player in our team see's a pass like Bruno! We miss his nous and guile when he's out and we just become a huff and puff team.

I've been a member for years, I'm still paid now. I carry out any survey I'm sent although I'm yet to attend a meeting. I've forwarded my concerns about match day atmosphere in email correspondence. I wouldn't ever run for any position at nust as I honestly couldn't commit the time as I'm a field based engineer. I've nothing to hide, I'm not the most vociferous or critical, but I'm also not sitting on the sidelines doing nixxy, I'd like to think.

I've lost a lot of faith in the trust but splintering off into another faction is absolutely the wrong idea. And why is seeing someone at an away day some kind of right of passage into the Uber fan club? I've never seen Darren curry at an away match and tbh, going off his interactions online I'd never want to meet him ever. He can run for a place on the trust at the elections and I'm sure all of his Twitter mates who want him to make Britain great again can vote him on. If he wants to start a movement for the betterment of match day experience then Fair do's, but not another trust man ffs. Trying not to be too much of a c*nt, because I'm sure he's well intentioned.

I've had a bit of resentment at fans after the giving up tickets made you essentially a leper The compensation thing fucks me off as well. The trade off for you moving is a better atmosphere, which is surely what everyone wants. Why should I be shocked at people being entirely self centered. I feel like the club just needs to take this all on board, then be ruthless as fuck

He's fucking homeless is Micky like!

Suppose with standing sections they still have rail seating no?

I thought Sunderland's on netflix was decent, I mean it was complete car crash TV in slow motion but still Can't deny it'll have got some people onto them globally and maybe even some pity fans who like the underdog story.

Channeling his inner total recall I love the pure cheese of cup attire like, wearing black and white suits and top hats and stuff, proper old school.
-
How do these people get by in normal life man?!
-
Massively offside by casimeiro surely
-
Impeccably well behaved I thought. We normally have a little undercurrent of radgies but I didn't see nor hear of any incidents barring those between our own fans within the ground.

That ball looked out to me?

Yes but he gave a ticket up, that's what fair weather fans do supposedly. As I used to say, Mike Ashley could've been rodgering these people's grannies on the centre circle at half time and they'd still make some excuse for it. -

Gobsmacked at this and I really shouldn't be. I get it off mates and some family members for giving my ticket up roughly 8 years ago. The amount of snarky comments I got for going to wembley, or paying through the nose to get a ST last year. Made me feel like a cunt, almost ashamed. But I remember why I done it and I also remember their shit excuses for not protesting. "I've been coming since xxxx" "my money means fuck all to Ashley in the grand scheme" I resented our fans then, mind going off this I still do now Anyways, you and WF have done more in one game than that daft bint has probably done in here entire time "supporting" NUFC. Seeing your displays fills me with immense pride everytime. -
It's actually criminal when you think about it. And no, I didn't start a rendition myself so I'm as much to blame tbf. I'll keep an eye on this thread and try and think up some ideas myself to try and give this legs as Sunday really brought this to the fore.

Nah I had no grief and atmosphere was generally sound where I was. Probably helped by the fact we had the mid tier metal ceiling and metal clad walls behind us I wouldn't consider myself a sing for 90 mins fan but the group of lads right next to me were definitely in that bracket so gave me encouragement, if that makes sense. But what I did notice is that in-between singing they complained about every single fucking thing, it was like sitting with me dad watching on the box! They also fucked off a good 10 mins before half time and left 15/20 mins before end, was completely perplexed! Some of my mates were top tier and they said there were people coming to blows over standing by people behind, once again completely perplexed. I'm not sure how anyone who has supported Newcastle, or followed football in any capacity can do either of the above? -
I wouldn't say this was cringe and is exactly what Toon Ultras set out to do previously. Like minded fans need a focal point firstly and start meeting and organising themselves with a repertoire of songs. Then we need to get the club on board with moving st holders (offering them a change obviously, otherwise no fucking complaining your knees are sore or it's too rowdy) then things will snowball imo. Hopefully it will encourage more to get behind it if it is a combined effort. I remember some fans complaining about the flags when they were introduced and the surfers. Everyone loves it now This very forum clearly has a very dedicated set of fans old and new and could very well be the starting point for all of the above.

I mean, the ones who sing all game are no exception to this either, and as evidenced by myself on Sunday, worse. -

I was in lower bowl and it looked to me like every single person was standing, but my mates in top tier said there were some ructions with people wanting to sit above standing fans. Not even old people either ffs -

Do agree with the above few posts that maybe wor flags could assist in the general atmosphere as they seem well organised and in good favour with the club. I know it's not necessarily their job, and would be something normally a trust would do but I honestly think they'd completely fuck it up and pay themselves on the back in the process. Atmosphere was definitely weird at wembley, but then not too dissimilar to what we've been seeing at St James' very recently. The flags are wow factor, amazing visual spectacle, but it doesn't seem to gee up the support in the way you'd think or hope! It's seemingly job done when the flags go down for kick off. And I'm not laying I to anyone as I was nervous myself on Sunday and struggling to accept where I was standing in the moment
