  1. Did Chelsea loan Zouma under the pretence of regaining fitness after the injury. Or is he turning into part of the loan machine?
  2. If Rafa is definitely making changes, surely Murphy and Merino have to start today. If not, Murphy will surely come in for Spurs, and then again for Chelsea with Atsu out for the season and Kenedy ineligible against a parent club.
  3. Why would Wilf "talisman" Zaha not want the limelight?
  4. I didn't realise you were such an avid terriers fan, Greg.
  5. TBF I said celebrate it like a cup win. Like go completely over the top as if they've blew through the 40 point mark and left teams in their wake. When the reality is they'd have been relegated in most of recent seasons on 35 points. And if Soton get a win they'll most likely be down. I've been awake since 4am, so my logic might be somewhat extreme atm. Anyway, Stoke need to get their finger out, they should be ahead. Greg wind your neck in chomp
  6. As opposed to quietly celebrating staying up? Nar, it'll be celebrated as if they've defied all odds, instead of breathing a sigh of relief that 3 established PL clubs collectively out s*** them. So if they got the same amount of points as they might end up on now but got them all in the last 4 weeks of the season instead of earlier in the season that's fine and they can celebrate? Nonsense man. It's Huddersfield. Let them enjoy it. It's got fuck all to do with when they collect points 35 points would have pretty much seen them relegated for the last 3 seasons. Had even 1 of the current 3 established PL teams in the bottom three had an ounce of ability, they'd be above Huddersfield. Aye they have 35 points and it's most likely going to stay that way with their fixtures, but the shitness of the bottom 3 is keeping Huddersfield safe as it stands. If Soton get 1 win, it's bye bye Huddersfield. If Huddersfield get to 38+ points then aye you've earned it.

  8. And so they should. Have I missed something? Erm yeah? They are going to stay up whilst continuing to lose their last 3 games because neither Stoke nor Soton have the balls to win more than 2 games since January.
  9. Aye, but it also shows how pathetic it'll be if dross like Huddersfield stay up. And they'll celebrate it like a cup win.
  10. I didn't realise Stokes last win was Lamberts first game, 12 matches ago. How are they only 3 points adrift
  11. Go read the replies to the Soton team news on twitter for the last 12 months and you may reconsider
  12. I honestly think Scottish / Gers fans are happy he's there to shine a light on the SPL. Sky and BT will monitor his every move.

    Jacob Murphy

He's also does the first touch flick to get around his man. Ayoze used to do it when he first arrived and we were all frothing at the gash.
  15. This might sound crazy Yorkie, but judging atmosphere is a very subjective thing. Was the atmosphere loud or quiet, calm or fraught with tension, was the plane in, or out of it?
  16. Who could have imagined Gini in a CL final and Thauvin in a EL final after the end to their retrospective NUFC careers

    Jacob Murphy

FWIW he's played just shy of 11 full games this season. The majority of his minutes have came in 4 games (all 90' mins) against City (x2), Chelsea and Man Utd.

    Jacob Murphy

He's quite clearly not a dud. He's possesses good pace and technique, uses both feet comfortably whilst having the ability to take on a man and cross. The fact he has the courage to shoot, particularly from range is a credit to him, considering the stick he gets. What he lacks however is game time and confidence. I'd be more than happy to start him somewhere across the 3 attacking midfield spots for the remaining 3 games. Jacob Murphy | Skills & Goals 17/18 on YouTube is canny for a glimpse of his potential none shittery.
  19. Just typical sweet talking Rafa. Players lacked PL experience but are learning. The team has been brilliant since January, credit to the squad + Dubravka and Kenedy for getting us safe with 5 games left. Wants to compete higher than 12th. Wants to win trophies (realistically it'll be the FA or League cup) and get into Europe. Appreciates he's compared to Keegan and Sir Bobby by fans and media but doesn't believe he's done enough yet.
  20. For people who claim he's been a complete waste. He indirectly won us the game v Huddersfield by forcing Lossl to punch a cross just from his mere presence and aerial threat. And he physically won the header that lead to Ayoze flicking onto Ritchie for the Arsenal winner. That's turned 1 point into 6. 36 points would still have seen us above the bottom 3, but it's a hell of a lot more comfortable up in 10th with 41 points.
  21. I'd wank my cock off if we signed Nabil Fekir as our #10.
