  1. Even better if 50000 screaming geordies all rang up tomorrow to cancel their sky package. Are you dense? What about the MILLIONS of sky subscribers of the PL and EFL teams? Do you genuinely think Sky give a toss if even 100,000 North East households pack in their Sky sports package? And even if they did care, are they going to penalise Ashley and deduct our cut of the TV revenue to compensate for our lack of regional contribution through TV services? If St James' was empty, it makes the fans and media of other clubs wonder and question why. Nobody gives a s*** if Barry from Cruddas Park cancels his £18 pound a month PL package, because that doesn't represent an empty seat on TV. Are you? I didn't say instead of. So regardless, my point still stands

  3. People say protests and boycotts won't work. Either due to fans having paid for tickets in advance, or the fact TV revenue far outweighs the gate receipts. All bullshit of course, because if we damaged the PL SKY brand by having St James' empty every game, opposing fans and the media might actually question the real reason "50 thousand screaming Geordies" have all simultaneously fucked off.
  4. Is it the Bundesliga were there is a "plus 1 rule", or something similar? Meaning fans hold a 51% or majority share of a club, to stop fat cunt owners like Ashley not investing and backing the club with football related income. Whatever it is, the PL and EFL need it introduced.
  5. How can we expect loans for Southampton reserve players when he can't write cheques for 200 mil?
  6. Does Ashley not realise players are only going to become more expensive? We wouldn't sign Townsend last January for 12m, and now he's valued at 27m. Whats Ashley gonna do in January when we need reinforcements for a managerless team? Rafa has shifted Pardew and Carrs shit signings, and been bought fuck all in return for weeks.

    Matt Targett

Looks like a kid sat at home retweeting and outtting his own view out there and calling it the truth. he writes for Football365 amongst others. I mean what makes more sense to you? Oh aye, the great Footbal365. The go to place for everyone to read football stories made up by other media outlets. Literally the only place on the internet that holds the football press to account. Stifler is the Paul Merson of N-O

Right, if you want a season long loan. Surely it's part of the opening phases of the conversation. Are we seriously being made to believe after 9 hours of discussions nobody on either side checked the length of the loan?

Why would we give a s*** about that? Why would Targett personally want that? He's been injured and surely could keep Dummett out instead of Bertrand.
  10. He was declining undeniably, but it's hard to argue the replacements have done a much better job. All our GK options are garbage really, and we may well pay the price big time this season. Howay man, UB. We almost survived the season we went down with Blob in goal and 2/3 of a season with McClaren at the helm. Yes they are all shit, but it's hardly the deciding factor this time
  11. Can we not scale up the relegation severity. 10 is dropping into the conference league within 6 seasons.
  12. Hang on. How come Craigy off SSN knows about a Cairney swap deal, but local Lee and Co are none the wiser?
  13. But Spurs away! f*** off. As if those of us who have followed his career since he started are simply reminiscing about that one display. I take it you were still in nappies or something when he made his debut against Palermo? At that point he looked like a possible future no.1 for a club challenging in Europe. His demise has coincided with the demise of the club and I for one feel no embarrassment for my disappointment at his inevitable departure. Have we only been on a downward trajectory for the 3 seasons Krul has been woeful, like?
  14. Eh, in what way He's fucked about at every club he's been at for literally 3 solid seasons.
  15. Not one of them can have watched him. "Strong", " good on the ball", "hardman". Poor, poor b******s It's the "good at keeping possession" and "helps to maintain team shape" that got me Oh and they hope he can play LWB Sorry lads but he doesn't cross the halfway line or pass forwards.
  16. Good job it's Fulham who've apparently bid, then.
  17. He missed an absolute sitter against somebody shite like Swansea. A back post header from about 14 inches and he put it confidently wide. Was harder to miss.
  18. Aye that's Siem you dafty. Thanks. It was in reply to Stan. Fair play
  19. I said then and I'll say it now. Rafa bought some utter s****. Good job Pards had a bullet proof portfolio.
