3 assists.

Yep, we've been lucky as fuck. We've faced teams severely depleted (Man Utd), other teams that just didn't bother turning up (Spurs, West Ham) and fluked a couple of 1-0s that should have gone the other way (and even the 2-0 at Sheffield United according to some, I haven't even seen highlights so can't say for myself). We've not been fucked by refereeing decisions either for the first season in god knows how long. If the perfect storm keeps up, this form can continue. Otherwise there could be a huge drop off, especially if injuries/tiredness hits at the same time as our luck turns. The Sheffield result and performance if Rafa was in charge would have been hailed as a masterclass, you didn’t watch it .Yep he’s had all the luck eh? Every result the team never deserved, yet it pains you that we sit 9th, it’s fucking killing you I shudder to think what Sean would be posting if we were sitting on 16 points.

Easily could have been 5-0 after 60 mins. Spurs was a really good performance, we've shown strong character to come from behind and pick up 8 points against Watford, Bournemouth, City, and Southampton. If we were just "lucky" no chance we'd be on 25 points after 18 games.

Several changes I reckon: Dubravka Schar Fernandez Lejeune Krath Yedlin S.Longstaff M.Longstaff Astu Gayle Joelinton

Jetro Willems (now playing for Deportivo Castellón)

I reckon he'll be on bench for Man Utd game, start Everton game. Who's LWB if Dummett's knackered as well though? Could play Yedlin or Krafth there if required I suppose. Yeah that's what I was thinking. -

Groin injury, expected to be fit for Man Utd game. -
It's that time of the year again, 2 games in 2 days. Obviously will need to mix the team up for the 2 games. For this one, I reckon we'll the see the Longstaffs, Gayle, Atsu, Krath, Yedlin. 3-1 defeat (Gayle).

Covmag is a good poster.

Thought Watford were fucked tbf, but this is massive. Sheff United and Villa next. 4 points there, and they're back in the game.
-
Holy shit indeed! What happened to Milan? Worst case you could maybe see a 3-0 defeat there, but 5-0
-
Obviously can't do 2 games in 2 days. So wouldn't be surprised if on bench at Man Utd on Boxing Day, starting against Everton at home next Saturday. Clearly putting in the effort.
-
Been very good improvement tbf. Had a few quality crosses in previous games aswell. Consistent, not really making too many errors. Well done lad.
-
Ings looking good. Clinical ATM, looks in strong form.
-
Shelvey not perfect. Has flaws, I'm not naïve. However 5 wins, 1 draw with City, 1 loss from 7 games when he's been playing recently. West Ham win he was tremendous for 60 mins.
-
The moment with that kid was class. I would be so buzzing at that age if that happened to me
-
Massive win for Southampton today like. Their away form is decent/good tbf 11 points so far, they look so tame at home though. If Villa don't beat Norwich on Boxing Day it's a bit of a disaster.

Nobody on this board is saying we are better off with Bruce than Rafa man Almost nobody! Listen to radio Newcastle and the cronic comments. He’s the second coming to some folk! Aye there are some weirdos out there, but nobody on this board. No one said anything about the board in the quote you replied to though. Fair enough.

Keep posting the facts. We all love those.

Only defeat we got at home was against Arsenal, and they were lucky to win that. The game-plan at home is clearly keep it tight, and try and nibble a goal. Not the most exciting but we are getting solid points on the board. Look at Norwich and Southampton - conceded 46 goals at home between them. Loads of their home games, they're not in with a chance of any points. We consistently are. We've never been 2 behind at home all season.
-
Was actually a decent finish tbf.

Obviously he won’t. We won’t go anywhere long term with any manager. The quality of football is literally no different to the last 3 seasons. Wrong we were the top scoring team in the Championship. And the 4th highest scoring team in the second half of last season scoring 27 goals in 17 matches(Only Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal scored more). If you can’t notice the difference between the second half of last season and the first half of this season goals wise then wow. Only 2 teams have scored less. We played Fulham before Christmas last season, drew 0-0 and had zero shots on target. We were class 2nd half of last season, but we had some stinking games first half of season tbf.
