The home tie was one of the few times I thought Pardew played it well tactically. We had to keep it tight as an away goal killed the tie, and we went 1-0 up with 20 minutes to go - absolutely the right idea but it just didn't come off. The away tie was a shambles defensively like. Santon can fuck off. That away game was so annoying. We took the lead aswell, a 2-1 loss would've been a decent enough result.

I think the bottom 3 stays as it is. I think Huddesfield will pick up a win, and just can't see Southampton or Stoke winning 3 games.

He's been at Chelsea on the bench. He goes to PSG/Bayern, he'll be on the bench. He wants to play football, and he knows he can get that here. Not saying it definite, but I think we have a solid enough chance of getting him (obviously if we pay the right money for the transfer and to him).

I think he should start, but at the very least, he should be on bench at world cup. He gives something different, and is a useful option to have.
