The hope that Shearer would deliver was running high for the Arsenal final, and he almost delivered. The remainder was a fairly nondescript surrender. There was quite a difference in the atmosphere around the city for the consecutive finals, the Arsenal one was some great carry on in the pubs and on the tube and that, the Man U was quite edgy and a bit toxic from what I can remember
No chance I'd watch the final in the Man U end ,rather be in the pub. I was in with the Sheff U lot at Old Trafford and got gobbed on and a smack in the back of the head when we scored ?
I was just thinking along the lines of jumping ship to a retailer competing at the same level. You can't be shopping there as a Toon fan, it's gruesome
Can stilli see something of s player in there, hope he gets increased minutes and finds a part to play for the last third of the season. He has the stamp to make it I'd say
Aye,you'd think Burn will have been scrutinised, and will be tested on the day. Plus Tripps will be busy with Rashford. Bruno will be a massive lift, needs to have his control over the occasion
Because every time I've watched them they have failed to impress me, and ground out a lot of wins with tight margins. Obviously we need to be a little bit more at it than yesterday
At this point I'd say top 6 is certainly achievable with our three expected closest rivals having to come to our place. Edging out one of the septic 6 so soon after our remarkable turnaround is great imo. Win those games and we can dream bigger
The question I've been asked at work most recently is ' is he any good, like ? ' Marvellous stuff at Anfield, not shown much at all since, after the time out. He doesn"t look to have much of a skillset on the ball, but neither did Micky Quinn
