I reckon it's dead. But I'm clinging onto the hope that Amanda Staveley is alleged to be the kind of person who never gives in, and eventually gets what she wants. Its something I guess. Better than listening to someone Monkfish on Twitter.

Yes but that's not what I'm saying in terms it being his money, I go on to say, there was no income from the pandemic. The club spends what it generates, we all know Ashley never puts a drop in. His money is tied up or like wall paper as he says? Regardless of the comment, I personally have stopped caring, especially when it comes to transfers.??
-
Realistically he was hardly going to put Millions in after a previous season of no income due to covid. 25m on Joe Willock, I guess its better than absolutely nothing. I'm by no means defending how we operate, but by now, we all know it's never, ever, a busy deadline day.

Aston Villa 2 - 0 Newcastle United - 21/08/21 - post-match from page 13

I think it was yet another harsh pen, and I don't believe Wilson was offside, even though you say we had no shot on goal, we should have taken the lead after 4 minutes had Wilson finished his 1 on 1 with the keeper. Yes we probably did deserve fuck all as you say, but I'd still say we've been hard done by with decisions lately. -

The game ruined by decisions again. -
10m these days is fuck all. But when another club look at our players, I guess they'd value them similar to a squad like Burnleys
-
I don't think we could make a profit on any of them you mention, except ASM. The rest have done nothing to suggest anyone would pay more than we were stupid enough to pay for them. Edit: Stupid phone only showed me the first few lines of your post. I see you have the same thought, Its pathetic how we operate, I'd honestly take Graham Carr back tomorrow.

Great news. Really pleased with this news. Think we will go for Brandon Williams next.

Pre-Season 2021/22 - Newcastle United 3-0 Norwich City

Fucking creeps. Wankers deserve him. Probably full of mackems these days. -
I'd sell all three to bring him back. They're all shite. But you're right it probably wont happen
-
If we sign Willock and Jetro Willems I'll be over the moon. A good window even by our miserable standard.
-
I honestly doubt we'll sign anyone. Maybe one loan deal, that'll be it. We should just write the season off now.

Why, however its paid installments or over a number of years, he'll still cost 40m at some point. Ok so is Nicolas Pepe at 72m better? Or haverts 72m, Pulisic 57m, Haller 45m, Ndombele 55m, Naby Keita 55m, Fred 53m, Wan Bisaka 50m. There's a host of players signed by clubs for ridiculous fees. However someone "signposts" a transfer fee as you put it, be it Joelinton at 40m or Pepe at 72m, someone will pay, and ASM is a super star, he's way better than 50m or under. My opinion he's a top four winger when fit. He would possibly struggle to get in City's side regularly or possibly Liverpool's (Jota can though), but have no issues playing or keeping a place in most other PL sides.

Yeah sure I get why anyone would go for him, it just would hurt if Rafa did, because it's a player I really dont want us to lose, and a manager I'd hoped wouldn't take our best asset away from us. But you're right about Bruce. If ASM wanted to leave though that would be totally different, because that would mean his heart isn't with us any more, but ASM has loved playing for us, and loves our fans, I'm sure he has missed the fans and is dying to play in front of us again.
-
He's easily in the top 20 players in the league for me. better than many wide players the top 6 have. The fact Son, and Sterling etc stand out is because they're scoring plenty of goals, ASM in a top side I don't think would struggle at all. He's a top level player. I'd stand by that valuation. There's far shitter players going for ridiculous fees.
-
If true about ASM, 50m valuation is a total joke,I think minimum 80m, he's in a very long contract and going off Joelinton being 40m it makes no sense. I'd actually be pissed at Rafa for going after our best player tbh.

I'm sure PIF are going to be pleased to hear this news. Please just go and purchase another club. End this fucking nightmare.
-
Should just write this thread off along with both takeover threads, Fucking none starters all of them.
-
I did actually also, based on age, etc, and probably the fact we had nothing here that was of much use at LB. But what I learned fast with Lewis is his positional play, he could be brilliant if he knew where to be when defending. Also he was coached by Daniel Farke who is head and shoulders more adventurous and tactically immense compared to Bruce. ??
-
Lemina is shite, let's stop pretending. Willock is the only Midfielder we need to focus on. Worry about dreg signings after. If anything we need fullbacks, the only club who have converted 2 wingers into fullbacks because were too fucking tight to go out and buy actual good fullbacks.
-
It's nothing to do with the PL if a takeover happens in the lower leagues. And for the EFL changing rules to support the Prem, that's cutting your nose of to spite your face. Would be thick of them after the big 6 shenanigans and breakaway league. It's not like the big 6 have signed deals to say they won't consider trying it again? Real/Juve/Barca etc are still very keen, and with Barca in Financial shit, it can only be a matter of time before these elite wankers have another stab. So in my opinion the EFL would be idiots to support the shit PL methods. Stick with their own rules.
-
The ODT in the champo would be a doddle, we've been there on two occasions and won it with literally no issues. Ashley could do what he always does and risk, he loves risk. But the likely hood is, we would lose someone like ASM as his fee would bankroll our promotion. I would stick my neck out and say Wilson would hang around, and a few others, so it's possible we could go down, sell up, and return at the first hurdle with fresh ownership, I'm sure theres fuck all the PL can do that way, not sure if that's how both Sheffield Utd and Villa handled there takeovers?
-
We simply need to just get relegated, and Ashley should agree a fee regardless of relegation, where they can purchase the club under EFL rules and just get this horror show over with.
-
If it fails, just wait for us to be relegated, and buy the club in the Championship. Less pissing about.

UEFA Euro 2020 Final: England 1 - 1 Italy (Italy win 3-2 on pens)
mighty__mag replied to Disco's topic in Football
Has there been proof that the accounts were "England" fans posting racist posts on players Instagram? Until its investigated, and ISPs are traced, it's the usual blame game. Could literally have been anyone, even Italian fans posting.
