FWIW the only Nufc game I went to last season was the home cup tie against Oxford, a poor game from start to finish, but I will say Rob Dickie was one of the best players on the pitch so much so I didn't have a clue who he was but i went away to look him up from his number, meant nowt as I never thought we would be signing him, but I did think from that particular game he looked a good player for that level.

I find it strange the need to have to pick one side or the other. The more I see and hear the more I'm of the opinion both sides fucked it for different reasons. Someone posted somewhere in here the past day or so that if they weren't going to make us the richest club in the land we'd have nowhere near the same sympathy for them and I'm inclined to agree. I'm not saying they're tyre kickers, but I'm also not going to believe a whole ton from a consortium that have imo strung our most trustworthy local reporter in Caulkin along this whole time with 'no red flags' positivity bollocks. There's no way in hell I believe that they're shocked by any of this mess. They just prayed they could brush it under the carpet. Does this mean I think the PL are blame free? No. I still think they've allowed outside influences affect their process. I still think they've absolutely bottled the whole situation. To happily ignore this whole thing in the hope it disappears just shows they couldn't truly give a fuck if a football club falls in to neglect, nor about the end consumers that it also affects. Tldr shock horror football is full of duplicitous cunts. I agree. My simplistic way of looking at it now is, we have always known who our owners are/were (Ashley,Shepherd,Halls.) These guys come as a consortium with the biggest stake holder being 80% meaning they're the probable owner, but you can't test pif as an owner somebody I assume MBS needs to come forward and be tested as the owner. He didn't want to be scrutinised, but surely Staveley isn't that thick she thought at 10% she could take the test? She's not the owner at 10%. Until the proper owner takes the test then there was never going to be movement. Which brings me back to thinking these guys fucked it as much as the PL didnt want them perhaps.

There will be a huge number of fans that will never be able to allow themselves to consider the negative side on this. It's all been about the buyers and assuming they're the perfect people. I dont trust the PL in this that much but I can equally take on board that the actual 80% stake holder or would be owner didnt want to take the fit and proper persons test, why?

But if you didn't have to do something you probably wouldn't. And when you ignore something long enough, usually it goes away. I keep seeing the 360 account saying let's turn the screw, rallying calls to Mps, etc etc, Yes at least they're doing something fair enough, but the elite in this world dont give a shit about anyone, so given the fact they're not forced to respond bothers me a bit. And will Stavely and Ashley actually bother to drag this through court, or just move on.
-
They don't have to, but can you imagine the reaction we'd be seeing if it was Man U/Tottenham/Arsenal that PIF were trying to buy. It would never be off the Skysports front page, and Masters would have been hauled up before a Parliamentary Comittee already to explain I don't believe so. This is why the process is so flawed. In reference to the recent ombudsman and political or MP interactions, PM and local Mps? Must a response be given? I think if not they're untouchable and only a legal battle in court settles this.
-
What will the premier league response be, Kashogis other half kicking off or Piracy? or both? That's all they can really claim. They will also use the buying party have now pulled out, so that lies with them, but we know if we believe Staveley that the PL said they were prepared to just leave it longer and longer and literally let it fester.
-
I think lots of versions of stories are being leaked. Why the fuck does Liverpool and Spurs get to decide our future? Were we consulted when Liverpool were bought out? Its fucking ridiculous, and even though already Stavelys husband has been on twitter with apologies, I'm still not sure it's to do with other clubs not wanting it. There will be a cluster of things, and nobody will give the honest response, just their versions.

So boring this match. -
There won't be really though. We know that. There will be this time They won’t lose 50 more fans do you want to put money on that if it doesn't go through? I wouldn't start putting numbers on it,but I've supported this club long enough now to know that many are programmed just to carry on. It wouldn't surprise me given the months of speculation, if season tickets are well up, based on the the takeover and those wanting the available seats from last season/this season. Never mind the takeover but the situation with Covid will tell you that season ticket sales will not be well up. Think you're going to be surprised how low the crowds will be next year if the takeover does not go through. Let's see Oh shit of course, I wasn't basing it on covid, was meaning in normal circumstances. I mean when the hype was up I was interested in buying a ticket again, so it shows there will have been many like me tempted in again, I resisted though until it would be rubber stamped, but again it's a tough choice because waiting can see them all go anyway. Now I'm back on the fence and thinking its definitely a good idea to leave it.

Ok his days as a defensive midfielder are over. At least he tried, and is still better than Jack Colback. -
