  1. Simple question. Are the premier league obliged to respond. Must they? If they have to I'm back in, if not, I cant be arsed, because its just another 1000 pages of nothingness in here, and extreme twitter attention posts.
  2. You know what saddens me among all that shit above, is that Shearer is involved with them with those shitty premier league team of the weeks. I don't blame him for taking the cash, but I'd admire him more if he told them to shove it up their arse.
  3. What will the premier league response be, Kashogis other half kicking off or Piracy? or both? That's all they can really claim. They will also use the buying party have now pulled out, so that lies with them, but we know if we believe Staveley that the PL said they were prepared to just leave it longer and longer and literally let it fester.
  4. I think lots of versions of stories are being leaked. Why the fuck does Liverpool and Spurs get to decide our future? Were we consulted when Liverpool were bought out? Its fucking ridiculous, and even though already Stavelys husband has been on twitter with apologies, I'm still not sure it's to do with other clubs not wanting it. There will be a cluster of things, and nobody will give the honest response, just their versions.
  5. Is there an actual copy of these statements anywhere. I'd like to see the so called pif statement.
  6. There won't be really though. We know that. There will be this time They won’t lose 50 more fans do you want to put money on that if it doesn't go through? I wouldn't start putting numbers on it,but I've supported this club long enough now to know that many are programmed just to carry on. It wouldn't surprise me given the months of speculation, if season tickets are well up, based on the the takeover and those wanting the available seats from last season/this season. Never mind the takeover but the situation with Covid will tell you that season ticket sales will not be well up. Think you're going to be surprised how low the crowds will be next year if the takeover does not go through. Let's see Oh shit of course, I wasn't basing it on covid, was meaning in normal circumstances. I mean when the hype was up I was interested in buying a ticket again, so it shows there will have been many like me tempted in again, I resisted though until it would be rubber stamped, but again it's a tough choice because waiting can see them all go anyway. Now I'm back on the fence and thinking its definitely a good idea to leave it.

Ok his days as a defensive midfielder are over. At least he tried, and is still better than Jack Colback.
  10. Surprise surprise Bruce's favourite. We need more than Joelinton right now.
  11. Weirdly wouldn't be too upset if we lose this providing west ham also win, only because I want Villa down??

Hmm, can't remember one as good as he is? Colo was ok on the ball, but Shar is deffo a better technical player, the lad looks safe when he goes forward. Plus what's interesting when experimenting, was seeing Sean Longstaff as some sort of CF or no10 before he got injured, he looked again safe up there, put himself about waay more than that lump Joelinton.

I think he'd make a decent CDM if he spent enough time playing there. He has much better technique than Hayden(not knocking Hayden who's played well,) and previously scored a few goals when he gets in good position.
  14. Southampton beating a better City side and really trying hard. We get a slightly weakened City side and produce a bottle job performance. Fucking awful.
  15. FYP Apologies, not into the cool/trendy/peeps acronym stuff??
  16. Wow this got more interesting When is the poll going up. 1. Can't stand the bloke. I'm joining the queue to stone him to death. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.He needs his own statute erecting outside SJP and I will personally polish his crotch.
  17. Why are you angry that we're on 43 points in 33 games? How do you enjoy asking these questions over and over again? I'm not angry. I'm quite definitively non-plussed over this whole season, mainly over my disillusionment thanks primarily to Ashley. Am I not allowed to continue disliking Steve Bruce as much for his personality as his management ability? Funnily enough I feel like the only time I posted more than an off the cuff snarky comment that explained a lot of people's dislike of Bruce is clearly about more than just whatever points total we get this year, it was one of those times I didn't see you engage at all. But obviously you couldn't just ask me 'but is he doing okay?' in response. I showed my (non toon fan) friend this thread earlier today. He was embarassed at the comments. "Why do they hate him so much? I just don't get it." No Daniel, I don't either. It's a very negative messageboard. Not just on Steve Bruce, but most of the players tbf. Very negative, very snide. That's NO Online. It's nowt really to do with Bruce hate, Yes he managed the Mackems, and yes his managerial record is wank, But its what's gone on here in the Ashley era, and whoever followed Rafa wasn't going to get the respect. But with Bruce if he was any kind of Newcastle fan which he isn't any kind of Geordie that he might like to pretend to be at times, he would have steered clear of working under this regime, most of us thought we'd turned the corner with Rafa, but it was more piss poor treatment, like Keegan and Houghton before hand. With Bruce I'm glad he's proving the doubters wrong, I'm glad the club are doing well and players may be happy? But I don't suppose I'd be bothered if Bruce was sacked tomorrow or even if the new owners don't want him. I cant deny hes done ok, but I genuinely think any of the current PL managers would have done equally as good if not slightly better, and we have had some lucky moments this season. Dont hate him, but I didn't want him as manager to start with and if we get taken over I'd hope he's replaced immediately. But as things stand I hope he does the best he possibly can. ??
  18. Looking forward to when we next play Southampton and the duel between Longstaff and Smallbone, should be interesting.
