Yes fair comment, I'm kind of claiming Carr has identified them, Rafa has selected them. I'm sure he or someone still trusts Carr with something, or why is he still hanging around. Just an opinion, cheers for the onslaught everyone, ?

Comfortably the worst post I've seen on here recently and there's been some competition. You really think Rafa (one f, by the way), hasn't seen two premier league players and a keeper (who has a name *Sels*), play before? This bloke does his homework. He's not Pardew. Not what was said, I think Carr is behind them. Fine if Raffa rubber stamped it. But I still think more Carr than Raffa.

He joined us with 10 games left of a Season? Before that he had been off managing abroad, what could he have actually seen of either Ritchie or Gayle, Ritchie only recently playing Prem footy, Gayle hardly playing any Prem footy this season. You think he scouted Ritchie in the championship? Behave cause Carr's behind the pair, maybe the scouted evidence is enough though to justify Raffa agreeing they will work in the championship. You can't be that naive. Sorry if that sounds cuntish Not cuntish, just moronic. You clearly haven't read a thing about Rafa or his player databases. Still, the good thing about being completely wrong is that you still have a chance to educate yourself. So top of his database was Ritchie & Gayle. Ok genius.

Theses new signings are Graham Carr. Gayle & Ritchie the goalie, I just don't believe Raffa could have seen enough of Gayle or Ritchie to know anything more than even the average football fan. I'm not saying they are bad signings, we will have to wait and see, but I don't think they're Raffa identified, and I'm still thinking Raffa is not 100% in total control. Time will tell.

Knew it ages ago. Just thought we would have done more to convince him it would have been better to stay, maybe renegotiate a better deal for him. Bit annoyed by him now.

Where from? The voices in my head. Nah, he's gone though. My opinion is if he travels he's gone, otherwise he would just instruct his agent to kindly decline the offer. If he's pictured in London I'll take it he's off

Don't get this whole love in with Armstrong the lad looked so far out of his depth when in the premier league he came on or started. yes he's scored goals at Coventry but that may be his level he's shown nothing to say he's got it at a much higher level and the fact he's local is a p*ss poor argument Taylor Colback and Ameobi were local look at how s*** these are. who gives a f*** if they are local or not they are paid to put the ball in the net the people saying Dwight Gayle is a dodgy deal need to give their head a shake we are a championship club now and he's looked sharp quick and an eye for goal in the premier league whenever I've seen him something our strikers have never shown he'd instantly be our best striker by a complete mile As if he wasn't just 17 or 18 when played in premier league and under Pardcunt no less :-) Armstrong is decent young player and still only 19, he needs to play at this level. Yes pal, but these experts that have seen him make 2 maybe 3 sub appearance's and get 5 mins at a time, are the knowledge! ?

Your talking about super rich footballers. You could argue the same case for local players who live and breathe their clubs to get some loyalty, money talks and everyone shits on everyone.
-
He's not a scared fanny though.

Sevilla seem to love French players. Their gaffer French?
-
Recently, 15 in 64 isn't amazing. But he would probably find the net more in the lower league

Townsend is going to Palace if we are getting Dwight Gayle. Also genuinely dont see much difference in Armstrong & Gayle other than one has just come off pretty much a full season and banged in 20 goals at the same time. Gayle hardly played half and scored 3. Armstrong also younger local, so he will want to do well. Don't get the deal for Gayle if true.

The lack of a 4-4-2 has not been an issue. It's been misusing players, having no shape as a team and shoehorning players into positions they are unsuited to. It was like playing 5 a side with your mates. Players were just freelancing and doing whatever the f*** they liked. With little or no success. I didn't have a clue who was supposed to be playing where at times. I'm all for a bit of freedom and fluidity (Football Managerâ„¢). But last night was a bit ridiculous. Absolutely, but I'm earmarkeing the traditional use of wide players. Yes Sturridge isn't a wide player, Rooney isn't a holding midfield player etc, last night was a joke. But it was noted Iceland played an old style 80/90s 442 that England had no clue what to do with. We use players out of position all the time now in modern day football, or in cases like last night adapt them or think they can play multiple positions. We didn't even have one natural old fashioned wide player in the entire squad. I can't name many left. Throw a Beckham type wide player at me from the Prem, I'm struggling. Call me old fashioned but I much prefer that kind of wide player.
-
He will know about all the top targets we had and didn't sign because they were to expensive. I'm just surprised a player of Batshuayi's alleged potential would go to Palace? Surley better offers are on the table.
-
Take it Kruls off to bum Pardew, like they all seem to do? I'll have more respect for him if he goes Everton.
-
I'm so glad it happened, because of pricks that say you can't play a 442 anymore. It's a stone age tactic etc etc. 442 if you have the right players can be great. The biggest issue about using wide players today is they simply are not wide players, they are just quick lads with a bit of technical abilities that like to cut in. Nobody crosses balls like Stuart Ripley repeatedly did for Shearer, Beckham did for Utd, even Keith Gillespie had a nice cross. This is why today you see so many isolated strikers. And most teams in this tournament have opted for using these converted winger types as strikers which has shown us the lack of goals in games.

Shearer & Ferdinand for England.
-
Shearer's applying. Get in.

Shearer name dropping, awesome. He's not arsed like other Fanny's if they unfriend him on Twitter.
