Grealish is such a clown
-
Felt Grealish could have blocked with the arm, realised then acting like he's hurt, fooled everyone.
-
Really wasteful good opportunity from Murphy
-
Heard were considering playing him with a broken toe? Surely we're not that stupid, in a fixture we'd likely lose regardless, to risk a player with a broken toe.
-
Shit news about Eales, hope he gets the best treatment, football doesn't even matter in situations like this. Pray he gets the help he needs.
-
But you just knew, that the old, 'we only want a club that tries' line would grow old fast with expectations, the qualifying for the UCL was great, but overachieving has given a proportion of the fanbase heightened demands. Some actually think we're a top four club now, some think we're a top six, personally I thought we'd build year on year, bit by bit, I'd put us in the mix with the top eight looking to build season on season, the emergence of Villa and Brighton, Chelsea now finding their feet. Expectation needs to be more realistic, as you say, online the fanbase is as deluded as I can ever remember.

Can we just blame Eales for everything, and hire a new CEO

Didn't get why he altered the formation to accommodate Gordon, if Gordon is playing shit and not really interested sub him, make the lad get his hunger back. It's like the formation changed yesterday to suit Gordon, he starts on the right, he's not affecting the game, they move him to the left and Barnes over, he's still not affected the game, we make changes at HT could just bring a winger on and take Gordon off, nope he alters the formation to keep him on the field, until eventually he's hauled off. Almiron needs a little run imo, we talk about purple patches etc, but how does a player get onto a purple patch or find any sort of form on the bench, behind those not putting in the hard work. Definitely think Gordon is looked after a bit, he even admitted to Neville on the overlap he doesn't do any weights or gym, and the manager is ok with it, Neville was a bit stunned, saying something like, so what do the others say when it's part of their programme, and you're able to skip it? It's not a massive dig at Gordon, because it's obvious to anyone he's a very good player when he's totally committed and driven, but Eddie can't keep players on the pitch that aren't giving everything, I'm including others in that also.

It was a bit of a piss take, after several beers and watching the boxing last night I'm trying to sabotage Craig Hopes fiction with my own version of made up events, How could anyone on here know what goes on behind the scenes. However, like some don't trust Mitchell,or, have drawn their own opinion of him already, with Darren Eales I'm not convinced either, think long term, he 'could' be our issue.
-
Not sure it should be Howe v Mitchell. Mitchell has walked into this, and clearly Eales has filled him in on his version of events, reckon Eales put Brunos release clause in, and also tried to flog Gordon, while M&M fell on their sword trying to protect what they and Howe had started, so Eales has kicked off to Yesir citing we'll get points deductions etc, forcing the sale of Minteh/Anderson, with Michell thinking the whole thing was a bit of a shambles and understandably thinking our transfer strategy wasn't fit for purpose as he's allegedly said, my hunch is Eales has spun this all his way, and Mitchell is caught in the crossfire.

Seems our identity has vanished, its not been there for a while, but we had the injury crisis of last season to blame whilst we looked out of sorts, the reality is this season is now proving its slipping away, I'm starting to belive the heartbeat has been ripped out of us by removing Amanda, she bought the feel good factor, sounds soppy, but I think lots of the staff and players embraced her loving passionate presence. Those three sat together today Eales, Mitchell and the other is it Bunce, reminded me of the dark days, with Ashley's Cronies. Probably being a bedwetter

Many won't agree with this, but I think Joelinton makes the better holding midfielder, and Bruno should be pushed up. Bruno just doesn't effect the game enough when he's playing deeper. I'd sub Gordon and put Harvey back on the left, and bring Almiron on the right for some much needed energy.
-
This season he's given nowt, not sure what's up with him? His defensive effort is none existent, its like he just can't be bothered, and it's a choice he's making, because the same in attacking positions and he's sprinting his bollocks off, but going in the other direction and he's walking, not interested. Would've thought Howe wouldn't stand for that, but I'm beginning to wonder if Howe doesn't want to upset him?

Better than I'd imagined, two of the three I wanted to start, start, so no complaints. Prefer Willock or Tonali to Longstaff. -

Start the strongest possible team. Would include for me starting, Barnes, Tonali, Trippier, over Murphy, Longstaff, Livramento. The rest picks itself -

Serious question, can't the club just ban Hope and Louise Taylor from press conference? -

Jesus, how is Endrick generating the power in that shot 😳 no wonder the keeper couldn't stop it. Madrid have some talent.

When was the last time a Scottish club won the league, other than Celtic or Rangers, because by that definition, that's what we'd end up with. For television purposes though, I don't think we'd want a league where its a two horse race every single season, something has to give, we need those unimaginable moments like Leicester 👍🏼 -

I'm enjoying the table, it's great seeing Man Utd and Spurs lingering in mid table obscurity. -

Both have played well on the right, in short spells. I don't get what the issue is, if any of us were asked to play either wing and we could, we'd be all over it, just to be selected.
