  1. This is exactly what will happen.
  2. PFM Shakespeare desperate to get rid of mincy forrins who wont play with passion. That rumour is a load of bollocks though. Leicester signed him for £30m last season, no way we'd offer anywhere near enough to get him.
  3. Aye, the way I read that is Liverpool want him to play regularly and we wont offer that.
  4. Is Craig Hope the journalist who was in with McClaren's camp and got everything right whilst he was here? Taking a very slim positive from what he's written, at least we know we put in a (somewhat realistic) bid for Murphy Shows that there is at least something happening. I'm firmly in the belief that if Rafa was genuinely that unhappy, then we'd know about it. I mean, he wasn't exactly one for hiding it in his interviews and mannerisms at the end of January. Ryder spent some of the day with him today and saw a bloke who is planning for the future, not packing his bags. And to put this summer it perspective, this time last season (July) we were linked with 31 players, of which only four of them actually signed. http://www.nufc.com/rumours/2016-07robrum.html Throw June into that as well, a further 18 players linked and none of them signed. That's 49 players linked with only four of them actually resulting in signing for us. This summer is not all that different with 30 odd links and 2 signings (so far). http://www.nufc.com/rumours/2016-06robrum.html
  5. Where do you think the hundreds of millions Sky are pumping in was likely to go? Back to the supporters in reduced ticket prices, foundation football and community activities would be nice.
  6. What happened to those two offers on the table for La Liga players? Was that even from someone credible or just hot air? Seems to have disappeared without even any names mentioned.
  7. Same against Huddersfield from what I can remember. The dropping of Ritchie that match was absolutely comical. Ritchie was only half fit for that game if I remember rightly, Rafa only wanted to use him if strictly necessary. If a player is half available for a match, he's available for it in full imo. Played the whole 90 mins vs Reading IIRC after this match as well. I think I would trust Rafa and his medical team over your head full of broken biscuits on such a matter like. Player is only available for half a game... make him play 90 mins and risk injury Best saying ever, that is like.
  8. Some good news that the chap who collapsed yesterday is "out of danger". http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40549773 Would be intrigued if there are any medical folk on here who could explain why this sort of thing seems to be happening much more frequently now then ever.
  9. Mentioned this lad weeks ago.Got the feeling nobody really rated him on here. He did superb in his championship spell off the back of a equally impressive loan at Coventry (whith Adam Armstrong) Although he returned to his parent club and had a superb season. And then continued to carry the form into the recent u21s tournament. You cant argue he's not been consistent or progressed over 2 seasons. Would be a great purchase. Im sure if it is genuine legit bid/interest then many will get on board instead of thinking hes turd. I honestly can't say I've taken much notice of him. However if he's performing for the U21's and did decent in the Championship last season and League 1 the season before, then for £8m-£10m he's worth the gamble, especially when you consider what the alternatives are for that price. Is he a winger (if so, which side) or a forward? It says winger on some websites and forward on others.
  10. I have an open mind and I posted yesterday(?) about how Ashley will always cast a shadow of doubt amongst our supporters. But we don't need people posting constantly trying to fear monger old news reports every five minutes. Lets digest the two "ITK" stories on this thread from tonight. They tell us absolutely nothing that we already don't know, other than a couple of extras in the first. We don't need it confirming that Rafa is frustrated, it's been confirmed when Rafa himself (or someone close to him) notified half of the British press two weeks ago. He's not imminently planning on leaving. Based on the previous media reports of Rafa being frustrated at the lack of transfer progress. "Nothing happening in the next few days" - well, based on there being no current reports in the media about fees agreed/personal terms discussed/medicals booked, that is not exactly such an outlandish comment. Reina is a regurgitation of the media reports of us stalling the Navas deal over wages. *insert player name here* is stalled because of wages. As we all have, as it's been in the media for the last couple of weeks.
  11. The only embarrassing ones are those, like yourself, that can't abide that someone might hear some snippets from someone but, of course, is unwilling to divulge their source. Jealousy most likely. Even if any of these stories are even remotely true, why would I be jealous? What a pathetic thing to say like. Oh aye, I'm sat at home totally cut up on the thought that someone may know something NUFC related that I don't. Anyone can sit here and make up stories and eventually someone, somewhere will get it right. It's a matter of probability. Most of the "ITK" stories on here are just regurgitated media reports that are already out there, it's hardly difficult to make it up and add in a few extras. People sit here mocking RTG, when at times, this place is on par with this sort of thing.
  12. I'll repost my original thoughts from 8 days ago then...
  13. Whilst I wasn't his biggest fan when he was at Man City, Navas would be a superb signing on a free for a newly promoted club like us (which I think people forget we are, at times).
  14. If ST sales are as reported (40k), then I'd say so yes. But it depends on how many games you want to go to/whether they are against Man Utd or West Brom. Also if you fancy the odd away trip you'll need one this year. Most will still go to general sale I'd imagine, but the higher profile games probably wont.
  15. https://www.nufc.co.uk/fans/membership/ Didn't realise it had gone up to £35. The last bullet point on there: Membership lasts until the end of the season
  16. Think so yes, £30? Mine had run out before end of season (comms are shit, nobody tells you and no easy way to check) so re-joined so I could get a Barnsley ticket. Assuming it runs to a 12 month period rather than season end. Though, again, nobody from the box office has bothered to answer this question. I'd be careful with that as I'm sure it was stated somewhere that they now run through the season and not across 12 months. I'll try and find the link for that.
  17. No idea why Aarons is so highly thought of amongst our support ike. He's had less than a handful of good games and been out injured for more time than fit. Wasting squad places on players like him, hoping that one day they'll come good is what causes us to have to play people out of position to cover for injuries. Send him out on loan and if he can prove himself consistently over a season then we'll keep him. Freeing up a squad place for someone who will actually play.
  18. Would not be surprised if that was shintonsghost.
