  1. What a complete little scrote, not training because he's such a melodramatic tosser. Seems like another footballer that's far too big for his boots far too early, probably an agent influence. Hopefully his career crashes and burns.
  2. People unnecessarily fear mongering again. Rafa's hopeful of more deals, but we have a large squad that needs people to move on before we can make further signings. The mattress protectors can stay in the cupboard for another day.
  3. Much better run out than travelling halfway across the world to play some daft friendlies. Anyone know how Murphy got on?
  4. Disgusting result that. We were never going to win after Rafa took off our best striker, Mitro. Need to replace Gayle if we have any chance of staying up.
  5. I'm seething, this is embarrasing. What will the mackems think?
  6. fucking hell Ivan Toney is still a thing I thought exactly the same about Curtis Good
  7. Any of the first team squad playing against Gateshead with the U23s?
  8. People acting like Messi isn't 30 and almost like he will hamper Neymar for the rest of his career
  9. There are three better players in the world. Two of them plays at the same club as him right now. That didn't make sense at all. He is a player that can put them into challenging seriously. Lets not forget PSG have done better than PL clubs last few seasons. So what is your point exactly? At this moment in time, yes - but that can and will change. My point was that you should aspire to play alongside the best players in the world, not throw a paddy because you're not the best superstar in your team. I didn't say he should move to the PL, so not sure what you're talking about there. But it's a silly comparison anyway, the four PL teams don't earn a bye into the Champions League in the first place, they play in a competitive league to get in there as is noted by the fact that at least two of our 'elite' clubs miss out. You'll defend Neymar until the sun goes down as he is your national treasure, I understand that. But it doesn't change the fact that his move is entirely motivated by greed.
  10. PSG haven't made it past the QF stage of the Champions League since 1995 ffs Saying 'without Neymar, PSG would have won last season' is irrelevant, they didn't win. They collapsed like a pack of cards to one of the competition's worst ever exits. The French league is dire, PSG don't ever challenge seriously in Europe - so what is he moving for exactly? To be the 'top man' at the club? Well if they aspire to be the best, then they'll sign better players... Will he throw his toys out of the pram if they sign someone better than him in 12 months?
  11. Trying to defend Neymar joining PSG for any other reason than chasing money ffs Aye, it's completely innocent moving to an absolute shite standard of football (in comparison to where he could move) if he was genuinely unhappy playing every week for one of the best teams in the world. Poor little lamb must be so distraught having to fight the endless battle of playing alongside Messi.
  12. Depends if anyone else tries to make a flag or do anything positive in the stadium that they've not vetted and authorised as the Kings.
  13. He's really not very good either. Another player who seems to have a career at big clubs based on nothing other than media hype and nationality.
  14. A massively overrated, injury prone player... No thanks.
  15. We're basically constantly on their minds. All the time. Where as we just have the one 606 page thread on sunderland that is rarely off the first page of the football forum! In fairness, our thread averages less than 10 posts a week. I bet they easily have 10+ posts a day relating to NUFC. Not that it really matters anyway.
  16. Rather than being 'stronger than ever' the Championship this season is more 'average than ever' and basically all 24 teams are fairly balanced with average players - making it more competitive but keeping the quality extremely low. Obviously teams like Boro and Villa have one or two better players, which is reflective of them being slight favourites with the bookies. You could honestly make a case for any of the 24 teams being up and around the playoff places though. Throw in the complete mockery of the refereeing and you do have a very unpredictable and competitive league that the pundicts talk of, just in a different way.
  17. Someone at NUFC currently photoshopping baby photos of his face into Newcastle shirts.
  18. I don't think anyone is advocating a youngster leaving, I just think people are willing to accept that the club might have just tried to make the best out of a winless situation where the youngster in question has a desire to leave. Accept a fee now and put in some decent clauses or let him go for free and riak getting next to nothing. We've kept many players here recently who have wanted to jump ship, a lot of them participated in our relegation. Forcing him to see out his scholarship when he's made it clear he's going by rejecting our offers is pointless.
  19. Or how about we try to convince him staying at NUFC would be best for him? Or maybe it will set the opposite example with potential school boys who see us as a club who will keep you regardless of your wishes and risk ruining your development - leading them to sign for the someone else from day one. I think that is complete utter shite. NUFC have invested thousands of pounds into him, if other graduates see that NUFC genuinely want their youngsters to succeed and go to the first team it will make them want to stay and try to make the grade into the first team. I dont necessarily think what I said is what would happen, I was just pointing out that it's just as plausible as the rubbish you sprouted.
