If you describe Villa as being in a "financial mess", what would that make the mackems? For people to compare the mackems bouncing back after their previous relegations is just a pointless comparison too. That was 11+ years ago and there is literally nothing comparable to the current situation. There is a very good reason that only 6 of the previous 30 clubs relegated from the PL have bounced back at the first attempt.

I think you just have to go into a season expecting Aarons to miss all of it now. Not that he's good enough to with as a starter anyway.
