  1. Oh David Stockdale... Thanks for the title lad. No idea why he won keeper of the season btw, the bloke has been making howlers all season. None of ours were any better like, but I'm sure there is someone in this league that is.
  2. Gayle encouraging the "going down, going up" song in his celebration Hero.
  3. Absolutely superb that. The last couple of weeks, I've seen the title as a bit "meh", but dear Lord did I want to win it today. Great feeling at the end and seriously good to see scenes like that back at SJP. Imagine if we actually won a major trophy. An incredibly frustrating day not being able to find out the score, some misinformation being passed around etc. In games like this, why cant they show the score of the other game on the TV? Is there any law/rule that forbids it? Anyway, a good performance today to round off a good season. We played some really nice stuff at times. Thought that Atsu, Yedlin and Mbemba were all superb, again. Time to kick back, relax and enjoy the end of the season. PL finishing, the playoffs and then the cup finals. Our job is done.
  4. The title would top off a decent season imo. If we win it, excellent. If we don't, I won't lose any sleep over it. It's a great feeling knowing this is the last game in this awful league though. Think we'll run riot today against a team on their holiday - similar to Spurs last season.
  5. Nah Phil Thompson and Jeff Stelling both said Defore was way offside, haven't seen it myself He was offside. He wasn't miles offside, there was a Hull player right in front of the linesman close to Defoe's line. Very marginally offside if at all as I haven't seen it close up You're being very controversial with Gillette Soccer Saturday today like.
  6. Well, no. It will still be Burnley which is closer to Newcastle than Hull. Not in hours/minutes, it isn't. Yes it is. Google maps has it as being 8 minutes quicker to 'ull. Not sure why we're even discussing this, to be fair But aye, Burnley is closer in miles (which was my original, incorrect point)
  7. Well, no. It will still be Burnley which is closer to Newcastle than Hull. Not in hours/minutes, it isn't.
  8. Hull getting relegated so that our closest away trip next season will be about 100000000 miles away.
  9. I see there's people arguing it was too close. Got nothing to do with that though. He was actively using his arm to sabotage the overhead kick. I haven't seen it to be fair, so cant comment. What a typical horrific end of season shit show today is.
  10. SSN pundits: "never a penalty in a million years" N-O: "clear penalty"
  11. 25 minutes gone.. Frankfurt 0-0 Wolfsburg 0 shots 0 shots on target 0 shots off target 0 corners Obviously I backed Over 2.5
  12. Especially because this Palace team is far too good to be relegated, it'd completely dispel any myth of him being anything other than a fat, bent, clogger.
  13. Chelsea have a habit of loaning out their youngsters and selling them foolishly, see Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne.
  14. No they won't. Unless Boro also win, is what he meant.

  16. We've had our fair share of absolute shit shows like.
  17. Must be strange for Rafa to have his strong Spanish accent and his daughter to be a complete Scouser
  18. They add up to £772,000 a week, which is £40,144,000 a year. But it's also not including the manager's salary, chief exec, chairman, people on the board, pay offs for paedophiles, coaching staff, youth and development players, admin/matchday staff etc. etc. You'd suspect that'd rise the figure to around £60m-£70m. Turnover of £1.08m, so it's not a million miles away.
  19. That was a report from last season.
  20. The PA guy at Man City really does my head in.
  21. Seems a reasonably educated guess like. They are the figures I'd probably have put on them.
  22. When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside. Lovely stuff. Almost makes you pleased to have our dear leader. I would love to see a breakdown of how much each player earns to put them in that much debt. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/510295/Revealed-Sunderland-player-wages
