Why do you hope Partizan lose 5-0 because Mitro never played, sorry to let you know but he left Partizan, intact he has left the team he left Partizan for. Shelvey and Clark have both played 210 minutes already this week mind Aye, Gayle spends 90 minutes running around like a headless chicken chasing down every ball in the attacking third though. Whereas the other two spend a lot of time in the same section of the pitch with a lot of control in their play (receiving and passing straight away). Not sure if I'm talking shit to be fair, but I'd expect Gayle to be most tired out of the lot. On the bench and hopefully he'll stay there. Great player, shame about his injuries recently. -

Surprised to see Gayle starting - he cant last much longer than 60 minutes surely Very strong team though, happy with that. -

I was just behind the goal for that. It was something daft like the last minute of ET, wasn't it? Great trip. -
Can someone hand Hans some Gaviscon for that burn?

Sad. One of the reasons I don't bemoan players going after money. 1 bad injury and it's a wrap. I'm pretty sure most professional players are insured these days. Majority of them are able to go straight into coaching/managerial, punditry or other related jobs these days too. Of course, Souare in his short career has probably earned more than any of us ever will in our lifetime.

We don't even know the evidence for either case yet fwiw. FA could have video evidence or anything, we don't know - we're speculating based on what Lee Ryder says and the fact they have been unable to set a date for a hearing so far.

Cant see why they would - they went back on loan to Forest as part of the deal for signing for us and didn't seem the need to boo them at that point What has changed since then? Can't do some proper digging at the minute but IIRC they were pretty f***ed off when we first signed them, accusing them (not surprisingly) of being money-grabbers. Aye, I don't doubt you are wrong, just think it's pointless in booing or abusing them. Why after them signing do they then go on to support them for a full season? If they were f***ed off when they signed, they should have been f***ed off during that full season too - when they both still played for Forest on loan. Nothing has changed since then so it would be ridiculous for them to boo/abuse them. Irritates me how every ex-player gets booed when they return to their old club no matter what the circumstances are, some footballers genuinely enjoy playing for some clubs and leave with a heavy heart. That's how I remember it too, he was very much a backup player for them for majority of that season. Darlow was a first team regular though. -
wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if there was a cover up at nufc or any other club eg tomorrows mirror Chelsea will be demanding that £50k back. They have waived the confidentiality clause. Problem is that they made the payment in 2015. Looks like they are truly in the shitter, relegations likely. Don't talk s**** man, relegation ffs. Greg Clarke has already said he will relegate any club that paid hush money. *Citation needed. Daily Mirror, last week. Cant find that anywhere - only quotes from Clarke I can find in relation to this is him saying it is "morally repugnant" if the claims of money for silence is true. FA's head of safeguarding said they'd investigate if it is illegal to do so and pass to the police if necessary but no mention of sanctioning clubs with relegation. It'd be ridiculously messy as those who paid the money may not still be in charge of the club(s).

Hooters has always been welcoming to away fans, has that changed? -
However, due to logistical complications, the hearing is now likely to take place during the week commencing December 19 - meaning Shelvey should be available for the Magpies’ next four fixtures. ^ The announcement

Well in theory yes, but he was asking for vectors from the tower so my guess is the darkness meant he had no idea what he had under him as it was in the middle of the night and raining. Also he got a go ahead to land from the tower but the plane just seems to not have made it to the landing strip. Terrible situation all round. Glad to see so much support being offered to the club. Cant imagine what the friends/family of those involved are feeling.
-
Celtic are 8 points clear with 3 games in hand, what a ridiculous league.
-
If these rumours are accurate, could the pilot not have tried to land the plane in a nearby field or something? He'd have known that the plane wouldn't make it to the airport and could have found somewhere remote to attempt to land it. Without being an expert in the geography of where the airport is/what is around it or how easy it would be to do, just seems bizarre he would just let it run out.

First game in a while where I'm expecting a loss/draw more than a win. Hopefully we kick on now with nothing other than the league to concentrate on and start pulling away again. -
Think the Mitrovic thread might give you a hernia on that basis. I agree but I think it is more than that - I've not seen a single thing from him since he joined that makes me think he is anything other than a really poor goalkeeper. The bad traits he has shown in Belgian football have been seized upon with us by other teams. Other than one save against Brighton, I cant even recall him making any save of note. Which is pretty astonishing for a goalkeeper at this level, even factoring in the fact he is new etc. you'd expect to at least see some glimpses of raw talent. The only positive I can think of with him, is his distribution is miles better than Darlow - but goalkeepers need to be be good at the basics of goalkeeping before that even matters.
-
Thought he absolutely controlled the game, as usual. I do worry about us if he gets a ban though.
-
It's not slagging, written nothing personal about him - he's simply not good enough and is not immune to criticsm when he makes absolute clangers nearly ever game he plays. How many people laughed at/abused Green when he dropped a clanger the other week against us? Didn't you post something about how all 4 of our keepers are better than him? Where is the difference?
