Villa's players haven't given a shit about themselves or their own club for 36 matches, so why on Earth does anyone think they'll care about dragging us down? They're desperate for the season to end and are ghosting through to the end, if we have anything about us then we'll win this easily. There is simply no excuse to not win this match.
-
Imagine next season when we're all stood at QPR watching the team walk out with Nigel fucking Pearson :'( We cant fucking go down, we just cant.
-
I cant think about anything else other than this at the moment. Might have to get a pacemaker fitted before the Villa game.

That's a load of s****. How so? They had s*** atmospheres at the Highbury library. I know quite a few arsenal fans who have ST's, they still stump up despite the price changes. And I know many Arsenal fans who have stopped going simply because they cannot afford to. It's a ridiculous amount of money to stump up for football, especially when not every Arsenal supporter is on a decent wage or even in employment at all. http://s32.postimg.org/79by2fs6d/arsenal_prices.jpg If you had a look around Highbury on a match day, then looked around the Emirates there is a distinct difference in who is actually sitting in the seats.

Are you implying that Newcastle are above his level? Where did I imply that like? Simply listed three teams that he'd be good for, of course he'd be good for us as a striker is one area we definitely need to improve. Anyone below or around those 3 teams in the table, he'd be good for. But that is his level.

A win tomorrow for Spurs and suddenly the pressure is back on Leicester to beat Everton next Saturday. Would be a disaster for us if Spurs go into the final game needing a win.
-
Aye, I think that was why Rafa had a chat with Perez at the end. We had two great chances to get another goal that could mean a hell of a lot in two weeks.

Aye, the more I see it the more I realise it was just a shit penalty. -
I really don't know why, but I quite like Benteke. Think he's been really harshly treated at Liverpool.

4 points clear with a point meaning they could get above us on goal difference on the last day. You're correct. Maths was never my strong point. I'm confused? Villa v Newcastle - away win mackems v Chelsea - away win Newcastle - 36 points mackems - 32 points mackems v Everton - away win How can they get above us on the final day? Aye, if the Everton game is a draw they could, but the original post said loss?

A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.

I put them in my 5-fold with Juve, Ajax, AC Milan and Sassuolo. Knew I shouldn't have.

To be fair like, I'm half tempted to agree with them Such an absolutely weak penalty, Darlow wouldn't have dived the other way because it was hit with so little power he had the opportunity to wait to see which direction the ball was heading. After the penalty when he walked over to take a corner, there was a clear smirk on his face like. Whether that was related I don't know, but seemed odd after he just missed a penalty. Darlow had made his mind up on which direction he was going before Cabaye struck it. Agree with Figures here like,Cabaye is a football technician man.Hes smashed in free kicks from fuckin miles away, penalties are a doddle. Cabaye took that penalty half arsed. Messi is the best player in the World and can't take penalties to save his life Ronaldo misses a fair few too like. -
Palace forum seem to think he'll be going to them when we go down Yet also mentioned in one of those posts, we're "deluded Geordies"
-
Liverpool have been absolutely gash.
-
Completely this, if we beat Villa then the pressure will be piled on them more than it ever has been. Chelsea putting in a good performance next Saturday is huge for us.
-
Arsenal are a prime example of a club who have priced-out their real fans. Their stadium is full of tourists, businessmen and folk who simply go "because they can" for the day out. Hence why the atmosphere is terrible and they are at a disadvantage to the other teams each year in the title race that they are competing in front of and for people who don't give a shit themselves.
-
Aye, he stands out so much because the other 10 players with him are all absolute dross and he's the main/only point of threat so they play absolutely everything through him. He'd be good for teams like the mackems, West Brom, Watford etc. but that's his level.
-
Nope Ok. Will they get 5spots if City wins it and finish outside the top 4? Or if both City and Liverpool win the cups? City win CL - no change, all 4 spots get it + City (if they don't come in the top 4) Liverpool win EL - no change, all 4 spots get it + Liverpool (if they don't come in the top 4) and we have qualifiers Both win CL/EL - top 3 get it + City + Liverpool (if City finish top 3 then we only have 4 qualifiers)

He still looks like the weak link in the defence and that is even with Anita at right back. He stands off far too much and allows players to run past him regularly. Good defender at a much lower level. He's okay, but he's nothing special. That said, he's performing well at the moment. I think people forget players' 6000 games prior to the one that we've just watched, it wasn't all that long ago that people thought he was a gash LB and better at CB. Now all of a sudden he's a world-beater LB and the sole reason we're winning games.
-
He isn't jumping into challenges anymore either, which is a big plus.

It's much easier for people to claim he missed on purpose if he skies it or blasts it wide, he hit it so soft and close to the keeper that even if Darlow moved to the right he'd have been able to re-adjust and save it. I used to play in goal too and would make a decision before kicks are taken, but that is usually because it's hard to get across due to the pace that they are hit at. Darlow didn't need to do that because of how weak the penalty was. I've just seen it again on MOTD and it'll never be certain either way, but he missed it and that is the important thing. Good old Kebabs. -
Fucking love Rafa and everything he does and says. Such a bizarre feeling having this for our manager.
