  1. Why are pundits making out that Fat Sam has came in and saved the mackems? He took over in October man fgs, he's nearly had a full season in charge - the position that they are in is because of him.
  2. Arsenal barely got out of second gear as they beat West Brom, that was effectively a training session.
  3. These are crap like, apart from a bit of pace up front they offer nothing. If we score early, they'll collapse like every Pardew team does. Could be 3-0+ Obviously we're Newcastle United, so we'll fight ugly for 90 minutes and scrape a 1-0 win under heart-attack conditions.
  4. Under Rafa: 1-1 v mackems 2-2 v Liverpool 1-1 v Man City 3-2 v Norwich (came back twice and nearly got something) Under any of our previous 3 managers, we'd have lost all of those games by at least 2 goals. 3 absolutely vital points that have been gained through having a decent manager.
  5. Was just about to post this. By her own admission she didn't remember a thing, the case was brought by entirely the state or however you term it. One of the main reasons his conviction was so preposterous in the first f***ing place. Especially as his mate who also had sex with her was aquitted, I've always thought this was one of the least contentious issues about the case, her going back to this guy's room with him could at least be some evidence of consent. The prosecution was that she consented to having sex with the friend but after she did, she passed out drunk and Ched had sex with her whilst she was in that state.
  6. My biggest frustration with him is the fact that he constantly runs into the back of people and gives away daft freekicks. My other half pointed out the other week that he is a bit of a creep when he plays like, always touching the opposition players when he gets close to them. Not like Shawcross does but more like a creepy hand on the back or around the waist.
  7. The first goal was just great by Sturridge, the second goal we had four players around Lallana and any of them could have thrown themselves in front of it and stopped it. Thought Lascelles did okay in the main, much better than Colo or Saylor would have done. He and Mbemba look to complement each other really well.
  8. Looking better and better each week, think he will be a huge player for us next season if we stay up and he continues to build on his form.
  9. Can always rely on Papiss to knock one in when it is really needed. That said, his general play yesterday (which had been better recently) was poor.
  10. One of the most improved under Rafa. Doing a great job in a position that is not his. I still think he is a useful player to have as he can play in so many different positions, I'd keep him next season.
  11. 1 prediction correct so far. Arsenal doing us a favour today and Stoke next week and the above is more than achievable.
  12. Absolutely. Arsenal usually beat these sorts of teams with ease, it is anyone in the top half they struggle with. A big Arsenal win to dent GD & confidence would be perfect today, absolutely perfect.
  13. Massive point but it needs to be followed with the mackems losing tomorrow. Two wins in the next two and we have a bloody good chance of getting out of this. Will be heartbreaking to go down and lose Rafa after getting the sense of what the man can do.
  14. If we have to lose it then we need to ensure we don't get thrashed, as this season could easily come down to goal difference. They'll play a weakened team and have one eye on the cup semi, if we've ever had a chance there then it is now. We'll be unchanged from Tuesday I think, they've got more than enough to get something against Liverpool's ressies.
  15. Linesman should be competent enough to make correct decisions in the Aguero situation. The only money to be spent should be to improve the current crop of officials.
  16. Norwich too, the handball leading up to their winner.
  17. Or maybe he's playing in his best position for once and has the freedom to basically run wherever he wants rather than playing out of position on the left wing Sorry, my mistake. I forgot being asked to play left wing means you are allowed to give up entirely and get a free pass to contribute nothing to your team and amble around like absolutely nothing. Even if he was asked to play in fucking goal I'd have expected to see more from him this season. He's been nothing better than disgraceful for 30 games this year. No excuses can be made for him.
  18. He's okay, he's not great but he's not dreadful.
  19. Absolutely outstanding last night and looked like the Tiote we used to have. Fair play to him, he looks up for the fight.
  20. Quickly becoming one of my favourite players at the moment. Could quite easily become a very, very good CB. I like him and Mbemba together.
  21. Looking more confident each game, looks steady and more than capable.
  22. Hasn't played football all season, so was going to be rusty when he first joined us. He's improving each week, could be a real asset for us next season if we stay up.
  23. Played well again last night, seems to be playing in a more advanced position to when SMC was here.
  24. Good again last night, although his passing was poor at times and he should have finished when one-on-one. Shame his pea-sized heart meant it has taken until now for him to show up this season, he is one of the reasons we are in this mess. He can leave end of this year, regardless what happens.
  25. If Leicester slip up against Swansea on Sunday (which they shouldn't) then the nerves will be kicking in a lot more than they are now as Spurs close the gap to 2-3 points. Would be absolutely hilarious if they fuck it up like, absolutely classless lot of fans they are.
