It's quite embarrassing that some people are allowed internet access from their secure units like.

Spurs will be an incredibly tough game, even if they're on the beach. I agree but they are beatable, especially at home where in recent weeks we've looked like we could give anyone a decent game.

Karl Darlow (now playing for Leeds United)
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Nobody's topic in Football
To be fair like, I'm half tempted to agree with them Such an absolutely weak penalty, Darlow wouldn't have dived the other way because it was hit with so little power he had the opportunity to wait to see which direction the ball was heading. After the penalty when he walked over to take a corner, there was a clear smirk on his face like. Whether that was related I don't know, but seemed odd after he just missed a penalty. -
Two wins will be enough imo and I'm starting to get more confident that we can get them. Realised on the way home that if the mackems lose the next two, we are safe if we beat Villa. Come on Chelsea and Everton! (Norwich getting 1 points or less from their games too, which is highly likely).

He'll frustrate at times - but when you're having to singlehandedly take on 3 or 4 opposition players, you're not going to win every time. He's a great talent though, far better than I expected and he could well play a massive part in keeping us up. Great free-kick.

Fucking hell they just get worse.

Silly silly boy. Is it a 7-9 month ban usually for stuff like this?
-
I personally wouldn't, I think Stoke away is one of the mackems' hardest games left - if they get anything there then regardless of our result I think it could be all over. The games I worry about are Everton and Watford, as both seem to be losing their managers at the end of the season and the players gave up three weeks ago. I still think we need 7 or 9 points to stay up as the mackems have such an easy run-in.

Feckin Hell. :( FT That's a shame that is like.

Not at all.

Have Man City already won the Champions League? Is this the celebration party?

Colback would definitely be the receiver.

He's crap, but he's also our best LB. Discussing Mbabu is irrelevant when he seems to be made out of hair gel, like Aarons, Marveaux etc.

If anyone wants to cheer themselves up have a scroll through some of the pages here: https://www.villatalk.com/forum/16-villa-talk/ It's quite worrying actually, the similarities between some of the posts on there and some posts on here under the Ashley era. Although I do absolutely despise Villa and would have loved us to have been in a situation going there Saturday week to laugh at them - it's just another example of a football club being used and abused by somebody with no interest or knowledge in football.
-
Aye that's settled then, as MOTD and SS are the only two football shows going. Sorry lads, I should have known.
-
Aye, otherwise he'll possibly get another game added onto it which would be the first game of next season. Not sure about the break though - if I was manager I'd be making him come in early every day for being such a twat. If Spurs had won last night, he'd be banned for some huge games.
-
When will we find out, any idea? He'll get charged at some point this week, then be able to appeal/request a personal hearing etc. It'll all be resolved before Spurs next play though, as the ban would commence in the next game. EDIT - he's just been charged

Physio Room has Shaqiri, Walters and Wilson back for Stoke in this game.

One of the best maybe 5GK's in the division. On his day top 3. Those aren't mutually exclusive statements. Eh? Don't think the English media generally portray him as better than De Gea, lloris, Courtois or Cech. I'd say they do, apart from De Gea I'd say a majority of them put him above the other three which is just ridiculous. When he makes mistakes, it is often not highlighted in analysis and he always seems to be without blame. I really don't rate Hart, I think he makes too many costly errors that put his team under pressure and leads to them concedes goals. He's very poor with his feet (although quite a few keepers are), his handling is subject at times (will often punch when he could easily catch), his command of his area/communication looks poor on occasions. His best attribute is his shot stopping, but being a world class goalkeeper is much more than that. If you watch him individually game-by-game you'll notice the above a lot more. The "on his day" comment from TCD is daft, on Shola's day he was one of the best strikers in the league. Everyone has good days.

They've lost their last 3, scoring once and conceding 12 in the process. They look well and truely a team finished for the season. I'd be amazed if sunderland don't beat them. To be fair, their last three were Man City, Liverpool and Tottenham. The mackems are nowhere near the quality of those three, they'll struggle at Stoke and Stoke will see the mackems at home as the perfect game to bounce back. We've played Man City and Liverpool in our last 2 and came away unbeaten. Spurs only managed a draw at home to West Brom. Stoke are already on the beach imo. Aye, but West Brom had nowt to play for and are already on the beach but last night came away with a draw against a team battling for everything. Anything can happen in football, there are favourites for a reason but in reality it all boils down to which 11 men turn up on the day. The mackems have 4 games left against 4 teams who are all better than them.
