We do love breaking records like this. Fully expect us to lose 18-0 to sort out that aggregate scoring. -
Luke Edwards is very sceptical of MA and often calls him out, he wouldn’t print a story about a second buyer if he had any concerns that this was leaked by MA’s camp as a lie. Therefore, it’s probably true. Rafa is heaping the pressure on MA to sell before January and making comments that he never has before, by making it clear the fault lies at MA’s door gor past and future failings, he’s backing him into a corner.

Wrong player, I meant the other Brighton striker.

Romelu Lukaku avoids retrospective action after appearing to kick out at Lewis Dunk. Gary Lineker also claims MOTD didn’t show it because ‘nobody saw it’. Interesting really, that MOTD managed to miss that but were absolutely falling over themselves to ban Mitro, Murray etc. this season.

Completely useless last season, wow - KI taking ‘shit posting’ to a new level. He played and scored reasonably well in the first half of the season considering he was consistently rotated in and out of the team, he theb got injured in January and wasn’t as good following that. Not sure how ‘completely useless’ he was at Preston or in the home cup game against the same opponents, two games off the top of my head. He’s also had one ban in the last 18 months, so not that many at all recently. His general performances have been less angry too and there has undoubtedly been a change in him. That is before we even start to consider his form for Serbia.

He puts himself about? I take it you didn’t watch him get knocked off the ball all day on Saturday then? He was absolutely weak as piss.
-
If he doesn’t start tomorrow it’ll be utterly fucking tragic.

Karl Darlow (now playing for Leeds United)
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Nobody's topic in Football
Darlow has dropped clangers that have directly resulted in his dropping points since he featured in an NUFC shirt. He was crap when we got relegated, he was crap in the Championship, he’s obviously still crap or Rafa wouldn’t be playing Elliot. -

I don’t necessarily think the formation is the problem. I think Joselu featuring rather than Mitro and Merino/Lascelles injured is the problem. -
But he doesn’t make saves.

Imagine if he made a decent save once. It's pretty tough to actually imagine that, but at least try. He made one yesterday like. We’re not allowed to talk about that though because some bloke once said that he loves Pardew so he has to be blamed for everything and we have to hate him!!! Very sad but thankfully this weird witchhunt only exists on this forum. He is a pretty terrible keeper though. There is no doubt that he’s very average but he’s nowhere near as bad as mentioned on here and he’s not to blame for barely any of the goals mentioned on here. I think I had a look recently and he had been blamed by at least one user on here for 90% of our goals conceded. When I’m bored and on my laptop I’ll have a look again but I bet it’s probably similar, if not the same. On that basis if we had Hugo Lloris in goal, we’d be in the top 4. Speaks volumes about how wrong and pathetic the constant criticism is. Depends how you assess keepers really, he doesn't make any obvious highlight reel errors, but at Pl level every single keeper will be at least a decent shot stopper. The metric by which good keepers stand out is movement, positioning, command of area, speed of adjustment. All things he is lacking in. Let's put it this way, in terms of the rest of the league, where would you rank him? who wouldn't you have over him? Again, I’m not pretending he’s a PL keeper - I’m merely stating the criticism is way over the top. According to this forum he is to blame for 90% of the goals we have conceded this season. Staggering that nobody in the footballing world has picked up on these obvious errors that he keeps making.

I think he was the only player, other than Mitro, who was sung and applauded off the pitch yesterday.

He gets more and more Carver-like, game by game.

Someone said they’d rather have Sammy Ameobi ffs

Am I the only one that is concerned that our poor form could hinder, rather than help the takeover? It’ll make PCP want a relegation clause more, whilst Ashley has proven time and time again that he is willing to risk relegation. Could it push the takeover to the end of the season? By which time we could be doomed (although I don’t think we will).

DeAndre Yedlin (now playing for Inter Miami)
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Ameritoon's topic in Football
5 minutes before the first goal he and Ritchie were given a clear warning where their wing back managed to get through unmarked. They then managed to let him do it for the first and the second goal, almost identically, whilst both of them flapped their arms around and moaned at others. Fucking amateurish, the sort of thing you’d expect to see in Sunday league. -
Reminded me of the Fulham (h) game last season, that did. Their goal came after we got away with a very similar fuck up just before, similar to Fulham iirc. We then proceded to make the same mistake and concede more goals, look totally toothless in attack and in reality were lucky to escape with a 3 goal defeat. Nobody can escape blame from that, a totally shocking shitshow.

Another improved performance Getting better the more football he plays, unsurprisingly. Probably the only slight positive from today.
