Failing to mention that the UAE are part of the coalition fighting the Houthis. Fancy that. I'm not going to defend the Saudis but the comparison between Yemen and Ukraine are a stretch. We're talking about a coalition fighting an Islamic insurgency at the behest of the legitimate Yemeni govt....pretty much when the US/UK coalition was doing against ISIS/Daesh in the Middle East for years. I think there are far more things to attack the KSA for than this. To he fair, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that a Labour government comes gets elected in a couple of years and decides to stop selling arms to and sanctions KSA, leaving us in the same position as Chelsea.

Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

"I give respect. When I see polls, the next manager and the fella from Bournemouth, I find it disrespectful, I have to tell you." Fancy a tattoo of this on my back. -
We're bang in form, hard to beat and it looks like only ourselves and Burnley down there who can actually defend. The crowd backing shouldn't also be overlooked. We also have big players to come back in St Max, Wilson, Trippier (hopefully) and Bruno to introduce. Nobody else at the bottom end have players of that quality. We'll be fine.

"For the football season beginning in August 2019 the Sports Direct Group will be charged £2million for the advertising rights. Sports Direct still considers this to be value for its shareholders.” I'm guessing he lied?

I never rated him here but he's definitely improved in my opinion, however there must be a reason that no-one has taken a punt on him. I know for a fact that Benitez actually rated him but he fell below the minimum fitness levels required of his players, and refused to do anything about it. I honestly think he'd do really well in somewhere like Italy.

Thank fuck for that. HUGE result.

Shite from Pardhowe. Why does persist with Fraser too?
-
Solid signing and for a decent fee. Yes please.

Regardless of it being NUFC who are in for him, it's a pretty shabby way to treat someone who has been there since he was 7. It's the type of stunt you expect from the likes of Ashley, not Man United.

Getting strong Benny Blanco from the Bronx vibes from this fella.

That's not true, there was people from all over the place on there, including quite a few Mackems. It was absolutely glorious in it's day mind, although became a bit of a parody of itself in later years. I started off on the rivals.net board which ended up as skunkers reunited when that died a death.

I must admit, I had much much higher hopes than this. It all seems a bit scattergun/shambolic now.

Compare and contrast the media/pundit reaction to this. Bruce gets binned leaving NUFC in 19th, 3pts from 8 (0 wins) after spending £120M and there's absolute outrage towards NUFC fans, who sang a few songs about him. Benitez leaves Everton in 16th with 19 pts (5 wins) after spending next to nowt and he's fair game. Everton fans have given him vile abuse from day one and hung Banners outside his house and not a word has been said. Not one. Fucking cunts.

True, but we had well known skinflint/arsehole Mike Ashley in charge. Its a bit harder to take when you're literally the wealthiest club on the planet.
-
What do you think they've done well in terms of football decisions? We've become a bit if a running joke in case you haven't noticed?
-
If we're being honest with ourselves, let's face it apart from the fan interaction, it's been an absolute clusterfuck since they arrived, one humiliation after another. I'm not sure how the Saudis will react at being so publicly humiliated but clearly things will change, and I honestly think Staveley will be the first to go.

As much as I want to him to succeed, it very much looks like he's out of his depth.
-
Have to say, the level of monitoring has gone up a notch or two since we became the world's richest club, if nothing else.

Botman off to Milan apparently.
