Peter Withe was the main man when I first started going, but probably Imre Varadi. Erratic finisher but the first player I'd seen at Newcastle with any real pace who was exciting to watch. Unlucky to be sold and decent goals record all things considered.

I don't say this lightly but on what I've seen of him so far, in terms of the ability to 'run' a game he's the best Central midfielder I've seen here since Gascoigne.
