Another massive fan of cricket, go to at least one test match a year and also watch a fair bit at Jesmond as I live around the corner. Also enjoy listening to it on TMS, the commentary is brilliant. Watching sport and drinking, what's not to like?

As someone who hasn't watched a single minute of NUFC since Benitez left, yesterday was the first time I'd watched Bruceball in any capacity. I'd set a particularly low bar for myslef but even I was shocked at how bad we were. The lack of shape all over the pitch, gaping holes everwhere, no visible gameplan or tactics and the absolute failure to change anything. Even the fitness levels, aren't a patch on what they were. It really is staggering to think this was Rafa's well functioning side with £120M spent on it, as we actually looked worse off than where we were in the Championship. How anybody can defend this fraud in any capacity is beyond reason.

I don't think it is a binary situation as this thread has proved, there are others who are uncomfortable being owned by Saudis but excited about what our future holds. The flag thing was a purely hypothetical question, so not sure why it was stupid. I'm fully aware I can walk away just as I did under Ashley, but I'm aware that if I come back because we start spending a load of cash, it's going to make the moral argument for staying away under Ashley seem more than a bit hypocritical. I'm really undecided what to do in all honesty, hence the thread.
