  1. Is this a wind up? In what way? I'm just questioning why they didn't go for Hughton given that he was available for nowt? Because there is zero chance of him saying yes after Ashley shat on him, don't you remember? Howay man They approached Fat Sam who was also sacked. What's the difference? Sam was sacked, Hughton was f***ed over by fatty and Pardew. I don't think it would bother these shameless cunts who they approached in all honesty. Just thought they might have explored the cheaper option.

  4. I think you and a few other people are in for a rude awakening when you find out there is enough people who actually attend games who will be happy to give local Bruce a fair chance. I'm under no illusions what some of our fans are like, thanks very much.

  6. Not that it make much difference in the grand scheme of things, but surely Hughton would have been the better option? Well liked here and available for nowt, would have made much more sense.
  7. Newcastle keen on Crouch. NUFC are understood to be interested in the veteran, gangly front man, who would be available on a free transfer this summer, and are monitoring the situation. While the signing would not excite the Geordie faithful, it would however give the team much needed options up front, and also be within owner Mike Ashley's strict operating budget.
  8. Watch Ashley give him £100M to spunk on players as well. I'm at the point now where I actually think, in terms of pissing people off & getting them to protest, this is actually a good appointment.
  9. First and last line in that first list should've been swapped. Pandering straight away to the #notdaregime crew removes some of the fizzle. It's trying to bridge the divide, I totally understand and respect what they are doing there. It's Us Vs Ashley, not Us vs Us vs Ashley. Yep, definitely the right way to go about it.......the 'you're part of the problem' (however true it may be), only gets people's backs up and makes them less inclined to boycott.
  10. I've met him a couple of times at the Magpie Group meetings and he always seemed canny enough....not sure what's happened to him lately, but he's turned into a right bitter arsehole.
  11. Bruce would be beyond amazing......especially for all the Rafa haters/support tha team not tha rejeeeem melts. Have it you cunts.
  12. I think old Midhat is going to rue the day he fucked with our hopes.
  13. Landed at the airport 10 mins ago. Meeting Redfearn to discuss his 8 year contract.
  14. He told them he wasn't going to accept their offer, in what way is that saying nothing? Any succession plan was up got them to sort out.
  15. Nolan has the face of a man who would literally say anything for his next drink.
  16. Interesting. A mate of mine knows him and his family very well through the cricket, and he was saying he wanted to stay. That all could have changed in the last week of course.
  17. Clearly the takeover has fallen through, so he's just going to sell off what he can, accept the inevitable relegation and gamble on bouncing straight back......meaning we'll owe him another £50M for the pleasure. Rinse and repeat.
  18. Yep, that's why Ashley was there today I'm guessing.....offered him about £250k pa and a £16M budget and he said yes.
  19. Rafa was probably as bored as waiting for a takeover as we are to be fair. There's only so much bullshit any sane person can take.
  20. Just when I thought I was out......
  21. I hope they go all out and push for a total boycott of the club and anything associated with Ashley.
  22. A really sad and totally avoidable day. Thanks for everything Rafa, and for restoring pride both on and off the pitch....you deserved so much better than this.
  23. This is absolutely far more likely than the imbecilic idea that BZG, a company far wealthier than SD are part of a smokescreen for their good pal Mike to sack Rafa. Yep. I want to sell to someone who can take the club forward = I want to sell to someone who will continue to advertise my tat for nowt. This BZG lot will sharp get bored of being messed around by the fat cunt, and the club will be withdrawn from the market. Again. So fucking predictable, the only way out of this is to really crank the protests up.....and by that I mean going down the West Ham route of threats and actual violence. Him and Charnley should be made to fear for their lives. Sports Direct stores should be fair game too (empty ones obviously).
  24. Just cancel your dd, I didn't even bother contacting the club. Then ask your bank for the money back from the 4 payments. It's that easy. Does that work? How do you go about reclaiming? In person? Via e-mail? Certainly interesting. Cheers. I just went into my branch (Santander) and explained the situation, they paid me back straight away and said they'd claim it back from nufc. The direct debit scheme is not a financial agreement and basically you've paid for something you haven't yet received.
