Newcastle United 2-2 Chelsea (20/12/25) | post-match from pg. 45

The clue is in the name to be fair. It shouldn't include other parts of the body. Certainly the way I've understood it for the last 50+ years anyway. -

Glad that you've got your scapegoat anyway. Your work is done. -

Nah, that was never shoulder to shoulder. Even Joe Cole said it was a penalty, which tells you exactly what you need to know. Horrendous decision. -
Did you actually say this in the summer, or are you just a hindsight merchant? Fair play of you did.

Yes, it obviously made no difference to the game. -
Agreed, I thought we looked way more open and likely to concede post subs. Although that clearly doesn't fit certain narratives.
-
We're still in the Champions league, league Cup semi and the FA Cup, you hysterical fanny.
-
As can the fickle and entitled cunts.
-
I think the Wolves walk out was more apathy than directly wanting Robson sacked, certainly any chanting was at a minimum and only really happened at Villa away. I didn't bother with message boards back then, but based my opinion on my mates, where I sat in the Milburn and from away games as I was a regular back then. It set us back eons and ultimately led to Mike Ashley. Be careful what you wish for.
-
I disagreed massively when they sacked Robson, he deserved so much better from the board and (some of our fans)......and I don't agree that it was a majority of them either. It made us look like clueless, fickle cunts then just as it would nowadays, and Howe has achieved way more than Robson has.
-
If I do walk away, it would be because of the number of fickle and entitled fans who make up our 'fanbase' nowadays. I remember when our support was second to none. The amount of people who go to the match just to whinge and piss really turns me off to be honest. I much prefer the crowds in non league.
-
Surely if you had been going that long, you would know that this is literally the best period in our recent history......and be aware of the damage that was caused the last time we pulled the trigger on a manager who had been superb for us? I'm not saying that there aren't issues that need to be addressed, but fuck me, get a grip.
-
It's fair to say, that we'd be known as the most fickle fans in football if Howe is chased out. I think I'd be done with the club.
-
He does all of those things for Germany, so clearly the way we play isn't getting the best out of him (or anyone else for that matter) as opposed to him being shit.
-
I don't want him sacked, but my loyalty towards him is definitely beginning to wane. That was an unforgivably cowardly performance today, where he just got everything wrong. Needs to do better and quickly.

No, I'm suggesting that you've got completely unrealistic expectations of a 19 year old midfielder playing in the PL, who has consistently shown he has the ability and mentality to play at that level. -

I remember reading the exact same thing being said about Anderson on here to be fair. He's miles better than 'meh', we have some utterly ridiculous 'fans' at times. -
The usual fickle fannies bumping their gums again.

What an utter moron.

Ginola's first touch was insane, better than Tonali's for me.
-
Definitely the the most concerned I've been in his tenure here. He keeps making the same mistakes and genuinely seems to have run out of ideas. Some of the players need to take a long look at themselves, mind.

Heaton Stan shat the bed again, losing 1-2 at home to Emley. First goal for them was a pen awarded after what looked like a fair tackle, to everyone e else in the ground, the 2nd calamitous defending after a big up and under. Really didn't understand why the manager persisted on playing their leading scorer, Pearson, out on the wing while the kid up front was none existent....but hey ho, everyone's a critic.
