Let's face it, despite the laughable attempts to portray himself as some sort of deep thinker, he's always been an odious, little toe-rag, so no great surprises here. Like Lee Bowyer before, I was absolutely gutted when we signed him. Funnily enough, a lad I go the cricket with worked on the Dabo case as part of the prosecution, so I has told first hand exactly what sort of a vicious scumbag he was...they were astonished that he wasn't actually jailed for the attack. Never understood the hero worship from some of our fans either, as he was utter garbage for about 75% of his time here.

I've seen us batter them a few times over the years but even then, they always looked like they had a threat. Absolutely pathetic by them tonight, but that definitely shouldn't take away from our performance. All pisstaking aside, their crowds are excellent given what they've endured over the last few years.....I'm not sure how many of them are paying the going rate for Champo tickets mind, but that's another argument. I know we have some knackers in our fanbase, but they have such a large proportion who are utterly consumed by Newcastle (the fans/club/city/identity) that they will never progress as a football club, as they don't need to. Last night's PSG penalty will get them through this season. Rinse and repeat.
